Classic Souix City roll
What about Soyuz 1? The parachute didn't deploy, Vladimir Komarov died on impact after re-entry.
And the crew of Soyuz 11? They did die in space after their cabin depressurized on undocking with their service module. Ground crews had already lost contact for re-entry prep and the crew wan't found to be dead until they opened the capsule on the ground, but autopsies and the investigation found they had died of asphyxiation while still in space when the explosive bolts misfired and broke open the cabin pressure valve.
The Russians have coughed up plenty of info about these events, and even how Gagarin's flight technically shouldn't count at the first spaceflight because the ejected 8,000 feet off the ground and didn't land with his craft, I don't know what they would be protecting at this point.
And the voice saying "I am hot" sounds nothing like Soviet radio protocol, and if that is supposed to be re-entry the radio wouldn't be working anyway at that point. There needs to be a lot more evidence than this, especially given this phenomenon:

|Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth Eviscerates Contractor Who Claimed Veterans Disability|
No, his "military service" was military prep school, where he broke his foot. He had zero trouble going on to play football in college. He now uses his "military disability" status to win plumb government contracts:
"Braulio Castillo broke his foot in a prep school injury nearly three decades ago at the U.S. Military Preparatory School, which he attended for nine months before playing football in college. He owns a technology business certified as a service-disabled, veteran-owned company eligible for government set aside contracts.
While much of the hearing delved into questions about Roseman and Castillo’s friendship, lawmakers from both parties wondered aloud how a prep school injury suffered so long ago could result in Castillo’s company getting special set aside contract status from the government at a time when so many injured veterans are looking for work."

For reading I like nonfiction. For something that exists in a highly polished high budget well acted visual form, I'd rather watch it that way without 1) knowing everything that is going to happen ahead of time and therefore 2) being disappointed whiny asshole when it is inevitably different that the source material. Fuck you.

For a while I was really hoping the GOP would slide back into reality and start participating in the process again, but more and more as they continue to find new ways to alienate the majority and double down on their sexist, racist, jingoistic philosophy it seems inevitable they will end up going the way of the Federalists and the Whigs
