Yoshi's Island: Subliminal Soviet Propaganda?

Subordinate Kamek, under orders from Czar Bowser Koopa III and in representation of the bourgeois klan koopa, attempts to abduct the young twins representing the industrial proletariat and the peasantry. While he succeeds in overtaking the peasantry the proletariat is recovered by the Bolshevik Yoshis who are incited into revolution against their koopa oppressors.
While both the Green and Red Yoshi headed the effort to recover the peasantry and elevate it and the proletariat in status over the bourgeois differences in opinion as to the direction of their efforts led to a bitter falling out and the Red Yoshi being stricken from historical record upon The Green Yoshi's rise to power. |

Man, there's just something beautiful about such a small, delicate creature resting in the palm of someone's hand.
Birds just look so very fragile when first born: It's like every breath they take pulses through their entire body.
There's a sort of level of trust and care it takes to hold something like that, something so small and vulnerable, in your hand.
I hope that little guy grows up and flies as high as it can. |

There's a sort of ghost archetype in Japanese folklore of the onryo which takes the form of a stringy, black haired young woman in a white funeral gown who returns to the world of the living to seek vengeance upon those who wronged her in life. It's become a really popular thing in Japanese horror lately what with The Ring and The Grudge and the like but it's by no means a recent phenomenon
The closest approximation I can find in Chinese folklore is The Nǚ Guǐ who is, apparently, the spirit of a woman who committed suicide while wearing a red dress (ghosts in Asian folklore tend to have strangely specific origin stories for some reason) who comes back to the world of the living looking much like the young lady in this video (Why the Nǚ Guǐ doesn't come back wearing a red dress is beyond me) in order to seek vengeance on those who wronged her in life.
So yeah, Asian countries are full of the vengeful spirits of young women clad in white if their folklore is to be believed. |

Eh, I don't know. I'm too worried I'd just dig myself in deeper.
I've realized I'm not very good at communicating through the medium of the printed word which means the things I write have a very likely chance of being interpreted in ways I never really intended, which, when coupled with my natural inability to let things go, leads to long, horrible conversations that make me look like an idiot.
I feel like going back would just end the same way it always does: I say something stupid without thinking, start backpedaling in hopes of doing damage control and end up looking like some form of crazed moron. |
