1 and 3 are crazy, but both have decent story structure and usually put the pretentious sermonizing aside. 2 plays well, but is a horrible pretentious mess of a story with only a few stand-out sequences.
That said, I love the gameplay of MGS 2 a lot. It's a shame that it's such a failure in every other way.
So there. An Essential Pack with all three games is about 30 bucks, and I think it's worth it. Try it out first, though. |
