I could almost see them handwaving that away, really. His sensors or whatever are designed to track lasers and other really really fast shit, but something like an arrow or a rock or whatever, well, who the fuck uses those as weapons anymore? Why bother to design a system to counteract them? It's like asking a cop to wear plate mail. |

I guess it just seems kind of hollow and weird to me that Lee gets all the credit and accolades while Kirby and Ditko and etc. are largely forgotten except by die-hard nerds.
I realize that Kirby's been dead for 15 years and you're not getting Ditko to come down out of the attic for anything short of the second coming of Ayn Rand but well, you know. |
