This is actually great - it's the first pay-per-view match Mr. Levesque (now better known as Triple H) ever appeared in, and because WCW was totally insane, they put him against Alex Wright, who was ALSO in his first PPV match. And let them go at it for TWENTY MINUTES. Usually you'd have an older, more experienced guy walking the rookie through it, but no, this is WCW, where the Big Boys Take It To The Paywinda On Tha Mothasheeyip. |

Alex Wright was a pretty talented guy saddled with a series of really really terrible gimmicks. As much as WCW didn't get how to push their lucha-style guys, they had absolutely *no* idea how to push anyone who worked that really stiff and technical European style. |
