The Max label Punisher is everything the Punisher is supposed to be. Castle is a husk of a man and completely dead on the inside. Everything he loves is destroyed. The only thing driving him is an unquenchable desire for revenge that even he doesn't understand anymore. The other Punisher movies made him too human. He's supposed to be a force of nature whose motivations, when examined, should come off as alien to any sane person. I'm really hoping that's the Punisher they show in this movie. |
