Rich was reportedly very upset that he could so easily destroy Krupa in this drum battle... Krupa was his lifelong hero. Rich even took it easy (anyone who knows his playing can see that).
Krupa *was* rather old and not exactly in his prime as a drummer, but check out those vids of Rich at age 65 playing the best of his life. Krupa was a ground-breaker, but not nearly the drummer Rich was. |

CAT FEEDING FRENZY

My friend's mom was a cat lady.. she took in about 12 strays. She kept them in one room about 1/3rd the size of that one - so, much more room per cat. She took good care of them (feeding, changing litter etc) - as best you could for 12 cats in a small room. That said, the stench in the room was UNREAL. Not of feces or urine, just of cat funk (which I never really experienced before - even as a cat owner).
The first thing I thought when I saw this was "OMFG imagine the stench". I bet it's horrific. |
