If I recall correctly, this was part of the "Action Pack", which was a series of two hours made for tv serial movies on a few different premises. This and the original run of Kevin Sorbo's Hercules are the only two I remember, but I know there were more. Obviously, Herc got turned into a regular half-hour show. Dunno if there was a half hour version of this, though if there wasn't, then there were a lot of these. Like one for each novel. |

I can only speak for myself, but the reason for me is that there seems to be little to no diminishing returns. I've seen this movie both purposefully and by happenstance well into the double digits, perhaps about 30 times and it still remains hilarious to me. I can't even really say why, the jokes just never seem to get old to me. Nothing else has achieved that for me, thus I deem it a great movie. |

The hard drugs thing was surprisingly a misconception in my time there. Sure, it was there, but most folks were no drunker or experimenting with anything they wouldn't on a typical Friday night. Hell, you might be surprised by the simple lack of weed in some areas of the event, by choice of the camps in the area. It's a tad sad that it is so misinterpreted, cause I think anyone that goes there, even stone cold sober, could find something worth their time. |
