Christine O'Donnell complains about AIDS funding on C-SPAN in 1997

She is probably the worst thing for the Republicans as far as this seat is concerned. She can win an isolated primary of red vs. red, but can she hold up to red vs. blue? The Tea Party really is the real Republican's worst enemy, I think.

That said, for places that will be remain red regardless, such as Arizona, I'm glad that McCain, even if it's this sad husk of what he once was, still beat the nutjob he was up against down there.

Man, I supported the general idea of a third party for so long, regardless of leaning, but all we get are wackos. I suppose I still do in principle, but in practice, we get this. Well, four more years for the Dems on this seat. I guess it's good news in the end.
Deadly Premonition - Sinners Sandwich

Well, I watched the Endurance Run of this a few months past, so I have no hands on feel for the controls, which I hear are awful. That said, everything I say in this game fascinated me. Even what I heard the controls were like sounded like some post-modern purposeful craziness. I can't wait to return to the states and pick up a copy soon.

He HAS a certain mad scientist thing to him. Typing hasn't been the same since the stroke.

He rides the bus for fun? I mean, don't get me wrong, the bus is a fantastic freak show and I love it for it, but I still only get on when I need to get somewhere else.

Um...Good luck on the walk home there, kid.

Well, if this wasn't just some nobody's movie blog, I'd say someone was about to be fired.
Chris-chan has a girlfriend...again
09/14/10, 01:27

There has been confirmation that he is a real guy with real problems. It's not just some brilliant troll. It's perhaps the shittiest life both in performance and circumstance. This is our world. This all happens.

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who heard that.
Talking Classics E3 2010 pt 1

Taking bets now: Femur, pelvis or skull will be the injury that makes it so we never see this guy again. I've got 10:1 on death.
Johnny Knoxville explores Detroit
09/13/10, 02:59

That is a good point. But that is probably an unavoidable fact no matter what. Detroit is too big and may one day have too many people in it again to dodge it. Still, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be used for those small ventures while it can be. I mean, like I said above, something has to eventually be done with Detroit. I don't think we'll just let it completely slide into John Carpenter mode, wall it up and send prisoners there.

It's really an American tragedy, but Christ, do something with that city. Anything!
Johnny Knoxville explores Detroit

I sorta agree, despite my hipster hate. I mean, hell, we gotta do something with the place, and the first step towards that is showing that something decent can come out of it. The solution is not going to be to just get out of Detroit, people have to figure out how to rebuild in some way or another. Why not this way? It's just a video on the net, but I hope it helps the city in some small way.
Ninja Scroll - Tessai's Thirst
09/12/10, 22:57

I remember my friends and I taking a moment in the first scene where the protagonist eating a rice ball too big for his mouth in one bite and reversing and repeating it ad nauseum to look like he was puking it back into his hand. Ah, to be 14 again.

I just have to wonder where the world would be without religion. I suspect we would already be living in a glorious space empire by now.
THE FUTURE

It's the episode named 'Joshua'. Can't find a place to watch it online, but if you have other ways, watch is as a companion piece.

I suddenly understand an already funny episode of Space Ghost a whole lot better.
Digital Cameras Are Hard
09/11/10, 08:24

Like I said above. I literally think they are trying to move out a large amount of built up 35mm's from years of super slumping sale in order to clear out space. It's the going out of business sale of cheap film cameras.

The Grand Spectacular - Being A Dickhead's Cool

They might be a little newer over there, actually. It's an Eastward movie plague.
