No, not THAT Hobbit. New Hobbit fever, I mean! Hobbit that came out this weekend and has doubtlessly caused us all to regress to our natural, Tolkein-faggot forms. Bakshi did his own version of Fellowship, which was even more forgettable and even less well received than the (unfairly maligned) Rankin-Bass Hobbit musical. |

The worst part is, he's right. That's exactly what Obama's doing, and why.
You can argue that gun control is a GOOD thing, you can argue that pulling the "think of the children" card is what he SHOULD be doing. But give credit where it's due; Obama's posing for the cameras and leveraging crass emotional appeals in order to push his political agenda. Full stop. He's not the only guy to pull shit like this- heck, we all know that when you decide to *politics*, sophistry is part of the job description. I'm sure if Romney had won, he'd be crying crocodile tears about how atheism and recycling caused this "unbelievable national tragedy".
But just so we're on the same page here, we can all agree that Obama IS crying so he can take your guns away, right? |

Oh man, great find! I've seen a number of things on this guy, but never anything so personal.
I love how he basically got away scott free, and the rest of society- the cultured, artistic elite in particular- just kinda treats him with this attitude of slightly curious nonchalance.

His ED.se page is a real winner (NSFW, obviously), chock full of wholesome, down home poeRed style crazy. Most of the primary sources are gone now thanks to the non-PD having fuckheads- his Twitter account is the only one I can still find, and that's mostly just him yelling at other Twitter users for not adding him to fan lists- but there are archived samples of his art and writing, and his full discography is still available. |
