I hear ya, buddy. I haven't followed wrasslin since the Attitude era, but I've seen a lot of CM Punk's work here on poeTV, and he's earned my respect.
The Rock? I didn't even like him when he was RELEVANT. Oh, the times I cried when he beat the Taker or Jericho because he was "popular" with the masses. And who can forget how big a dick he was to Mick Foley during the Rock and Sock era? I had no idea he was in the Royal Rumble, or that he had a movie coming out, but this sounds like exactly the sort of thing he'd do. Ruin a historic winning streak to promote some crappy film for jerks. |
