Do Sepultura even play the old, fast stuff anymore? Or are they too busy basing concept albums off classical literature to remember they used to be a metal band?
I liked Against despite being unrelatable as a Sepultura album, but I'm happy that Igor finally left. That makes Paulo the only founding member remaining, and as far as I'm concerned they should call it quits and resume under a name change if they want to move on.
Meanwhile, it's great to see the brothers reunited. Inflikted isn't a ground breaking album in the vein of stuff like Arise or Chaos AD, but I like it for being a good straight up metal album, and the fact that Max + Igor always means good music. |

It's interesting to see this stuff and from where music progressed. I'm always interested in the guitar playing from that era--the approach they'd take to song writing by alternating chords like major, minors, and sevenths just makes an interesting tone. |

It's amazing how much he sounds like Chris without having to try. And to his credit, he's not out there under the tag line "Chris Cornell's brother", but it's clear he realizes that he's going to have to endure the comparisons.
Hopefully it will speak for itself that they put together a pretty great rock album Suicide Parlour a.k.a. Better Than a Killer. Definitely worth checking out for anybody into the 90s Seattle music scene, because they're definitely carrying on the torch where so many of the bands like Soundgarden, AIC, Screaming Trees, etc are now defunct.

After so much brain damage, I can't see how this even gets better save for the fact that apparently her family would take care of her despite the diapers.
The couple things I don't understand though:
She's huffing several of those cans per day, yet living in what looks like a pretty nice apartment apparently by herself. How the hell does this happen?
"It's not illegal, and I'm over eighteen"
But stores have the right to refuse service, and if it were me I'd talk to my manager. It would be irresponsible not to bring it up, she's said she literally has the same person ringing her up day in and day out. If she goes some place else to buy it, fine, but they need to ban her from the store. |

That's the same model that got me to buy Feel the Magic XX/XY. i would say that all of us as gamers should have higher standards and start demanding consoles launch with the titles we actually want to play (would it kill Nintendo to have a Zelda game prepared, just once?) But on the other hand, Mass Effect got 9.0 reviews and raving reception by fans so my faith in gamers is nil. |
