They had this dude on Stan Lee's Superhumans a couple years ago. He is crazy fast. And he's right about how the showdowns never happened like in movies.
My granddad had this old book about outlaws in the west and there would be photos of the propped up corpse of the bad guy of the day with the people who did them in posing next to it. It was never one on one. My granddad handed me a magnifying glass and said "count the holes." You could look real close and see the holes in their outfit. One guy had at least 18 that I could spot. |

I found an auto-leveling guide on GameFAQs. You can set up your gambit system in some temple, where this one monster shows up and summons other lesser monsters. You set up your team to only go after the weaker monsters and to keep doing healing magic or draining magic from enemies when it gets low; I forgot how it goes but it was retarded to see it at work.
I went to sleep and left the game running. When I woke up, my guys had gone from level 35 to level 66.
The rest of the game was pretty much autopilot at that point. My guys were strong enough for whatever came along. I didn't even have to intervene in the boss fight. I just watched them go. I got up to make a sandwich and the fight was over. |

The game doesn't totally freeze - the evil sort of music continues, after all. Also all the text goes red, like your character is dead.
I tried to fight the Dragonlord without Erdrick's Sword. The battle just goes on and on until you die. I felt like that was kind of a bitchass move on the game's part, especially since the sword was so damned hard to find. The end castle has all those neverending mazes going on and you can run out of MP just casting RADIANCE. |

If you activate the G.E.C.K. in the Vault instead of nabbing it, you get a flash of white light and some text about how awesome the G.E.C.K. works, which probably tells us that the original ending was probably meant to take place there.
You die in the explosion and probably get regurgitated as part of the new wastes.
They could have just taken the G.E.C.K., had a robot activate it safely somewhere, and that would have been a much better outcome for the Wasteland.
Even the Enclave would have known this. |
