I always feel like I'm forced to play the cynic whenever people talk about Banksy, but he is really ludicrously overrated. He's a privately educated, upper-middle-class 40-year-old who adopts the manner of a renegade street artist so his substandard intellect and barely-formed political opinions get a free pass. I've met some of the people he pays to do his tagging for him in London- he doesn't even do that shit himself!

Nah, this is on point. I know a bunch of girls who were born and raised on that Disney crap, now in their twenties. It's pretty gross. They end up with that same sanctimonious, smug sense of entitlement that you find in Christians. It's a very current phenomenon. |
