This stands out for me because I remember it happening when I was a kid in 1978. 918 members of the Peoples Temple religious group drank Flavor-Aid (a Kool-Aid knock off) mixed with cyanide. The metaphor "drink the Kool-Aid" means to blindly follow everyone else to your destruction. It's like calling someone a lemming except that the lemming, mass suicide thing is a hoax. |

The music they're listening to is the F-bomb laden opening music to the second season of Death Note. It always surprised me that Cartoon Network didn't bleep that profanity when they showed Death Note. |
