Seems strange these days doesn't it? If there was a video game with real-time, rendered graphics that didn't have bump maps or texture maps, no one would play them. Five stars for Tron, five stars for Syd Mead, five stars for Repomancer and five stars for everyone who knows what a specular highlight is. |

That tone change just about made me jump out of my chair. I know that for years the USA would broadcast a countdown in the south Pacific to confused the Soviets a nuclear test was being conducted. Chernobyl was used to power a near-by over the horizon RADAR station. (I've seen the American one in central Oregon but the radio towers have been torn down.) But I don't think it sounds like that. Five stars because I've always wanted to hear this one. Anybody know what day, time and frequency? |

Apparently the show is called Tondemo Senshi Muteking. The kid's freaking out because the sparkly and definitely not gay rainbow the little guy shoots out is supposed to turn the kid into MuteKing. But the little guy missed and hit a girl instead. She's wearing regular roller skates not roller blades and the music is disco. What happens when you combine roller skates and disco? You get... (*sigh* I can't believe I'm saying this) roller disco. Five evil stars. |

I remember being pissed that They pulled the show. The episodes were cheesy and I knew it but when you're 7 or 8 years old it's really good entertainment. |
