Since we're voting for the evilness of the clip this one gets five stars. I'm surprised this show didn't kill off Darkstalkers entirely. But what really blew it for me is a teen-age boy has Felicia in his bedroom and he's telling her to get out. |

Batman the Animated Series: Beware the Gray Ghost

The point this episode was trying to make was that actors like Adam West tend to find it hard to get work after their big success, even though their work is very influential. Just like the actor in the story who played The Gray Ghost, Al Hodge voiced The Green Hornet on radio and was a TV pioneer in the 1950s portraying Captain Video. In the late 1970s he was found dead in a seedy, rundown apartment filled with Captain Video collectibles just like The Gray Ghost actor. Also, like The Gray Ghost in the story, The Green Hornet was one of the real influences of the character Batman and they shares a lot of similarities. |

I remember listening to Radio Moscow on my shortwave receiver when Chernobyl blew up. They canceled all normal broadcasts and sounded like there was this guy in a big empty room reading a statement on how there were hundreds and hundreds of accidents at nuclear power plants all over the US and UK. That statment Cronkite read sounds about right for the Soviets. |

I notice that their idea of "Internet" is usenet alt newsgroups (they were like forums we have today).
The designers of the Internet envisioned a bold new world were ideas, no matter how dangerous, could be discussed without fear or restrictions to freedom of speech. Instead we got 4chan lol cats and spam telling us how to make our dicks bigger. |
