You're right. I should have gotten a degree in hard sciences. I was young and foolish. I however do intend to send out my OCS package soon. And they won't cut the Coast Guard. We've been cut enough as is. Plus I'm getting promoted fast and getting good marks. I'm sitting pretty right now. |

You're right Kwash, and that's what needs changing around here. The losses and gains must be private.
Loose Change, you're pretty dead on there. Except I don't hate liberals for being godless as I am godless as well. I too am college educated and I didn't own a gun until I moved to Alaska. Actually I have a lot in common with liberals except that I hate big government, and I don't waste my time looking into the other man's pocket. |

Candleballsack, when debating people here over politics I started warping names into insults to up the trash talking and to support the logic of my arguments. It later just became a part of my identity here.
I don't know what others call it, but I figure if you an acronym that can be pronounced into a quick or catchy word you use the word. Nobody says "g.u.i." They say "gooey." |

Anarexic, baleen shouldn't have an article. Baleen is one of those words that really can't be singular unless I specify an item its attached to. Its like you're asking me to say "I own a gold."
That just sounds bad, but its okay to say "I own a gold ring."
I'll cut you some slack because baleen is a word folks don't use much. So I could say "I own A piece of baleen." but I can also say "I own Baleen" |
