Louis Armweak: Waterboarding isn't about calling your torturer names. Its all about being able to take the heat. How can I be tortured when I torture myself. I used to run in hot sun to lose pounds for my matches. I'd run till I puked. I've survived weeks in the wilderness. Compared to my wrestling days waterboarding will be like a cool shower. |

Stanly pain accused me of having a Hollywood view of the war on terror as though we conservatives support torture because Jack Bauer does it. At the same time liberals have a Hollywood view like that of Golden Age comics I.E. the "We're the good guys, good guys don't torture" argument. Things are more complicated than both those views.
I'm not as heartless as I sometimes sound. I am aware that some detainees are not guilty. But I approach war pragmatically. There will always be innocent blood spilled in war, but at the moment there is a war being fought, and in any war prisoners need to be interrogated. So with that understanding we have to make our interrogations count for something. Compared to other methods water-boarding is very humane. The victim walks away from it without permanent physical injury.
I'm even going to be water-boarded soon. So keep an eye out for that video. |

Failic: My arguments have gotten lazy I'll admit that. Its hard being outnumbered the way I am. Imagine yourself on a Drudge Report forum using your arguments, "Torture doesn't work, because it just doesn't work."
Its hard sometimes just to keep up the fight.
But I assure you, I truly believe in what I've said. There are times where "torture" may be used to save American lives.
When you say torture doesn't work how do you know. I'll bet if you were tortured you'd give up any information your torturers want. Just cause some liberal articles say it doesn't work doesn't make it so. |

I don't care if waterboarding is defined as torture or not. Our people in the military and CIA should still be able to do it if the situation requires it. The people you're trying to save from "torture" do not deserve your help. Just let it be and let the men serving their country do their jobs for a change.
The libs keep complaining about how hard progress comes in Iraq in Afghanistan. Let them do their jobs and it'll come.
Shepherd Smith is mad and rightfully so. He has to defend our troops from Goddamn liberals who think the "rights" of some murdering savages are more important than the survival of our armed forces. |
