Live Coverage of the Space Shuttle Disaster, 1986
01/28/10, 18:05

I was PM Kindergarten, and this was in the morning, so when I got to school none of us in our class could figure out why all the space shuttle posters had been taken down and we ended up watching "The Adventures of Mr. Toad and Ichabod Crane" instead.

What always amazed me was that the teacher had literally NOTHING ELSE planned, and all the materials were basically just the xeroxed shit from NASA.

Having a perfectly average, normal sized penis is what's holding me back. I'd have self-esteem if I was larger and I'd have motivation if I was smaller.

As such, I'm lazy.

They actually did get Mark Hamill to play the Joker, only it was in fuzzy flashback so you didn't see he face. And they totally gutted Harley Quinn's character conceptually from "wacky and cute killer groupie" to "sinister corporate attorney" for some reason.
20/20: Devil Worship (May 16, 1985)
01/27/10, 13:52

Man, I totally remember seeing this when it aired. I was five. This, combined with the little grey alien pics on "In Search Of..." scarred me for YEARS.

And then when I was 15, I realized Lavey was just a carnie with a brilliant gimmick, and I learned a valuable lesson in self-aggrandization.

Actually, they got Tina Louise on the project by promising it would be called "Ginger's Island", and that Ginger would be the main character. She was bitter about that till her dying day, as it ruined her career as anything other than Ginger.
