Peter Schiff Was Right 2006 - 2007
11/17/08, 00:38 In a clip with a lot of great moments, my favorite was when he shared the screen with a PiP of Mitt Romney. |

Final Fantasy VII intro
11/16/08, 20:04 Also, this is easily the best version of the introduction, way better than the low-res and-or watermarked versions that show up at the top of the search queue, so if anyone wants to go to the original YouTube page and give it a good rating, that would be really great (for people who care about QUALITY I mean). |

Final Fantasy VII intro
11/16/08, 19:39 I thought it was absolutely pretentious and overhyped the first time I saw it back in 1997; not only do I see why people were so excited about back then, I think it holds up really well, both on it's own merits and because it demonstrates more cinematic intelligence than would have been expected from a videogame company back then. |

Robert Downey Jr at the '92 DNC
11/16/08, 02:06 I found it really hard to watch for that reason. The only thing that sort of redeems his weird-ass behavior is that young white people in the early 90s were really quirked out and awkward in general. In film, it was Pauly Shore and Frank Whaley; in music, Linda Perry and Adam Duritz; on TV, Julia Sweeney and Jim Carrey. It was a bad period for white people and I thank Kurt for redeeming us through the power of his blood. |
