Mike Rowe on QVC - Crinkly Cat Bag
01/25/09, 11:08 "The cat will be... magically... drawn to the bag. Yeah its weird, but cats are weird... so...".
I wonder if the frequent looks off to the side are him telling the producer "Are you kidding me?" or the other way around?

The Swedish Chef, Animal and Beaker cover "Danny Boy".
01/25/09, 11:00 That's a mind-boggling statement in itself; but to say it for this video? Staggering. |

'Star Wars' An a capella tribute to John Williams
01/25/09, 10:39 "No longer available due to a copyright claim from Warner Music Group"
Fucking hell YouTube. If this isn't protected under parody and fair use, I have no idea what is. |

Meet The Heavy Weapons Guy (in German)
01/25/09, 10:34 I don't know, I think he sounds crazier and better in the English version. |

Gaming In The Clinton Years - Violence in Video Games
01/25/09, 00:20 Adding more cinema to violent games means there's now nothing wrong with them? What? Why?
"And that's one of the principles on what's flights of fantasy was founded"
Wait...what?

Darth Vader Plays Harmonica
01/24/09, 22:12 My theory would be: because its awesome.
I'm conducting lab experiments to confirm now. |

Naughty Little Mermaid
01/24/09, 22:05 So basically, its the original song minus the subtlety. |

The Other Skip Rogers Score More Points In Nintendo Games Video
01/24/09, 19:42 "I tell kids all the time they need a stick that's comfortable and stands up for a lot of play. Then their parents run up and start yelling at me". |

Aggresive Reporter Chooses Wrong Mark
01/24/09, 19:35 I don't know. Its almost too good to be true, but there's nothing implausible in the video, and the Economist seems to think its valid. |

Fox News and Michelle Malkin - Jay-Z and Young Jeezy's post-inauguration rap
01/24/09, 13:01 Who actually promised that by the way? I've heard a lot of people whining about broken promises of Obama not parting the seas, but oddly they're the same ones whining about his fulfilling promises like closing Gitmo, expanding health-care, and ending the global gag-rule. |

Fox News and Michelle Malkin - Jay-Z and Young Jeezy's post-inauguration rap
01/24/09, 11:46 Wait, they censor shit, but not bitch? And do they not know how many letters are in prick/pussy, or is that another word?
Anyway, if being Fox News wasn't enough to lose all credibility, they have Michelle Malkin of all people, to complain about racism and divisive rhetoric. You know, mini-Coulter.
Guys, Obama will make mistakes and give you stuff to legitimately criticize. Young Jeezy's non-racist rant, while standing next to Jay-Z, who came with Beyonce, who sang for the Obama's, just looks desperate. |

The Daily Show: Fox News Fear Imbalance
01/23/09, 14:48 I don't think you're getting the pun:
"Fair and Balanced"
"Fear ImBalance"
Ok, so its not really funny. But often the titles derive their humor from the cringes. |

The Daily Show: Fox News Fear Imbalance
01/23/09, 14:01 "I find it highly entertaining that we're talking about these things less than 24 hours into the Presidency."
Me too. Well, except for the O'Reilly comment and the whole suggestion that following the Constitution too dangerous. That's not so much entertaining as extremely disturbing. |
 |
Ebert & Roeper - Daredevil
01/23/09, 11:51 The only sadness and confusion I remember came from the audience.
He was right that the characters weren't upstaged by the special effects. Its just not a good thing. |

Countdown: NSA spied on journalists.
01/22/09, 19:19 Bush keeps saying how history will vindicate him.
I swear to God, I would wager everything I have, on history showing his actions even more reprehensible than assumed by the media. |

Barak and Michelle's 'First Dance' at the Neighborhood Ball
01/22/09, 17:47 I'm not particularly moved by this. Closing Gitmo, suspending gag-orders on international health clinics, withdrawing from Iraq, and passing childrens' health insurance move me. I didn't vote for Obama because they are a Camelot couple.
But I have to admit, its surprisingly sweet and romantic. |

Intimate Secrets of the Obamas
01/22/09, 17:20 Oh, its been there. Hopefully not in the past 8 years (except for Cheney's S&M dungeon) but its been there. |
 |
Intimate Secrets of the Obamas
01/22/09, 13:25 I think this is much more information than we needed to know.
Carter's Playboy interview, Clinton's explicit Starr report, and now this. Is it that the news only reports the sexual habits of Democratic Presidents, or is it just that they are the only ones with something to report?
|
 |
Chris Wallace talks about Obama's oath.
01/21/09, 13:23 I know way too many people who still firmly believe Obama was born overseas. Whether its Kenya or Indonesia depends on the person telling it, but its always based on Obama "refusing to release his birth certificate".
Also nearly half of our Presidents never said the oath at all, many didn't use a Bible, and several changed the words at their discretion. Obama became President at noon, regardless of whether there was an oath or not. |

Bush is over.
