Its an 'if we lose' rather than a 'when we lose', but its still something she was specifically told by the McCain campaign not to say, at least until Nov 5th. Also the response is funny.
And I disagree with citrusmiakel. Its a statement made by a person who has been building a structure in Iowa rather than helping McCain. It was made by a person who for every step of her career betrayed the people who had helped her get to the top. It was made by a person naive about policy matters, not political ambition. It was made by Sarah "Barracuda".

It was a good address. He lays out who he is, who he stands for, and what he intends to do, with particular focus on the economy. It was sensible, compassionate, and Presidential.
At this time I'm beyond worrying if he'll be President, or even if he'll be a good President. I hope that he'll be one of our greatest Presidents, because that is what it'll take to restore our country to a position of strength and sustainability. |

This response would have no impact. Palin boasted of sharing the wealth in Alaska and McCain defended redistribution in the primaries, but that makes no difference either.
The people listening to it are those who from the beginning haven't cared what the facts are. People who will readily vote against their own economic interests if you mention abortion, the gays, or Christianity. |
