Freakazoid - Why Cosgrove Didn't Get Married
10/10/08, 18:16

Its damn funny even without the double meaning.
30 Rock - Don't Take Liz Lemon's Food
10/10/08, 18:15

Agreed. A clip of just Liz running into the room demanding her sandwich would have earned five and a favorite.

Dammit 30 Rock, get back on the air already.
Ayers ad run by the McCain campaign

I agree to an extent. But keep in mind that at this time Ayers was considered a reformed do-gooder with key positions in Chicago government relating to poverty and education, and endorsed and befriended by Republicans and Democrats alike.

That committee they served on together was put together by one of McCain's strongest supporters, a man whose endorsement McCain trumpets in press releases. Ayers is strongly defended today by most Chicago politicians who've worked with him. Not because of what he did, but who he is now.

Yes it does. (Surprise!)

Not new ones, as all these facts were known ages ago, and dismissed by McCain (back then) as irrelevant. But I do think Senator Obama exercised poor judgment in not condemning his actions sooner. Sitting on an education board with him is no problem, but appearing at his house when canvassing for votes was.

Then again, the lead prosecutor of the Weathermen disagrees with me, so who knows.

SARAH PALIN: BARACK OBAMA TERRORIST FRIEND BILL AYERS! HILLARY ALSO NAILED OBAMA ON HIS TERRORIST FR
10/10/08, 16:33

I'm still lost on why saying you got tested is a bad thing.

Besides, in an interview Obama suggested McCain doesn't have the guts to say the charge do his face, and his campaign has basically dared McCain to mention it in the debate. So I don't think its a matter of guts.

I think he's got the right idea.

There's no evidence these attacks are having a significant impact, aside from the far-right base. Staying positive, and focusing on issues is not only going to draw supporters, but its good for the country. Plus talking about it just legitimizes the issue.
Betty White on McCain

Its there, but not showing up for some reason.
70 Year Old Man Backs Camry Onto Buffalo Grove Police Car
10/10/08, 14:17

Some officers handle the shit they deal with each day by being remarkably patient and calm. Its the ones that don't that make cops look bad.
Tom Brokaw Cannot Read His Teleprompter
10/10/08, 14:13

He failed, but I don't feel sorry for him.

When both candidates express a desire for follow-ups and rebuttals, you don't whine about the rules, you agree to it. Its been done in debates before, and no-one punishes you for changing the rules.

And considering how stupid the last two questions he picked were, they could have afforded to take the time.

Obama was playing the race card with his shameful 'dollar-bill' comments. It was the most vicious personal attack this whole campaign. Don't you remember? It got covered for weeks.

McCain would never try to exploit Obama's difference to flame fear and anger. He's way too honorable for that.
Nostrobamaus

He's not a psychic. McCain was in the audience taking notes.
grave of the fireflies
10/10/08, 13:04

My parents bought me the book and showed me the movie when I was four.

Of course I'm well-adjusted, why do you ask?
The Great Escape - Motorcycle Finale
10/10/08, 11:12

I know. But the scene was still added because McQueen held up production, demanding a bigger role in the film. And he accepted a part on the movie only on the condition that he get to show off his motorcycle skills.
Barack Obama's debate prep

I'm starring for the dead-on McCain impression.

"Look at me, I'm wandering around, staring into space"
The Great Escape - Motorcycle Finale
10/10/08, 09:35

This is one of my favorite movies, but I'm not fond of this scene.

Its out of place and goes on too long. And its a classic case of a particularly famous star demanding his own special scene to show off.
Astronaut messes with golfers

Dupe.
Crazy Man to McCain: Please Fight the Socialists
10/10/08, 09:17

Yeah, when he basically says 'I don't care about the economy', I think its safe to say he's one of those "value voters."

Plus, you think he would have mentioned how McCain tried to take credit for the socialist bailout.
Magic Trick - The Dark Knight
10/10/08, 09:13

I love this film, and I hate this film!
Marriage: It's Simple
10/09/08, 22:53

You were doing well until the 17th word.

This gay marriage ban in California was opposed by +10%. Up until several incredibly wealthy out-of-state Mormon groups injected millions into the race, making the measure now likely to pass.
