It's Couric's fault Palin looks like a bumbling moron.
10/03/08, 16:35 Do you think she was unfair in moderating the debate: Yes or No?
Because if not then how the hell is it remotely relevant?
Also, unless you don't watch or support Fox News, I'm quite sure that complaint about objectivity is a complete farce.

Sarah Palin makes a shoutout
10/03/08, 16:30 I think we can all agree: Sheriff Margo would be a way better VP.

Biden Chokes Up Recalling His Family's History
10/03/08, 16:23 Palin wasn't rehearsed for that moment. So she read her cue cards about something unrelated instead of responding like a human being. And yet for some reason pundits are claiming there were "no gaffes".
Good on Joe for taking on the suggestion that because Palin's a woman, she understands family and raising kids better. One of those candidates was fighting sexism, and it wasn't the one who is treating the Presidency like a beauty pageant.

Sarah Palin makes a shoutout
10/03/08, 13:38 "Say it ain't so, Joe, there you go again pointing backwards again. You preferenced [sic] your whole comment with the Bush administration. Now doggone it, let's look ahead and tell Americans what we have to plan to do for them in the future. You mentioned education and I'm glad you did. I know education you are passionate about with your wife being a teacher for 30 years, and god bless her. Her reward is in heaven, right? I say, too, with education, America needs to be putting a lot more focus on that and our schools have got to be really ramped up in terms of the funding that they are deserving. Teachers needed to be paid more. I come from a house full of school teachers. My grandma was, my dad who is in the audience today, he's a schoolteacher, had been for many years. My brother, who I think is the best schoolteacher in the year, and here's a shout-out to all those third graders at Gladys Wood Elementary School, you get extra credit for watching the debate,"
This is the best argument for voting McCain/ Palin. The endless comedy that will be produced for Tina Fey to act out.

Fox focus group discusses Palin Biden debate
10/03/08, 13:18 ...who the hell thought it would be a good idea to hold an "objective" poll in the headquarters of Cindy McCain's company?
It should come as no surprise that this was the only focus group to say Palin won. Every single other one said Biden won.

The 2008 Vice Presidential Debate (Governer Sarah Palin (R) Vs. Sentator Joe Biden (D))
10/03/08, 13:06 My favorite example of that was the "Achilles heel" question.
Seeing as her response talked only about her strengths we have to wonder if she, once again, just ignored it so she could recite her talking point flashcards, or if she really doesn't understand what the term means.

It's Couric's fault Palin looks like a bumbling moron.
10/03/08, 12:56 Gwen Ifill edited out Sarah Palin's good answers in the debate.
And how hilarious is it that she used her closing statement in her only debate to say that she wasn't interesting in talking through "the media filter". As opposed to the unfiltered Hannity and Hewitt.

The first of the 2008 presidential debates.
10/03/08, 12:50 A good debate, although I'm sure the heavy focus on policy facts and details wore some viewers down.
Both demonstrated a clear and commanding grasp of the issues. But I think only one of them demonstrated good judgment and principles in how they would apply that knowledge.

The 2008 Vice Presidential Debate (Governer Sarah Palin (R) Vs. Sentator Joe Biden (D))
10/03/08, 09:13 All the insta-polls and focus groups show Biden as a clear winner. As far as I know, Fox News' group was the only won to swing Palin, and that was based entirely on three people saying they were now switching to McCain.

The 2008 Vice Presidential Debate (Governer Sarah Palin (R) Vs. Sentator Joe Biden (D))
10/03/08, 09:03 That was fucking unbelievable.
She was clearly told by her handlers to work that in somewhere. Too bad her two remaining brain cells didn't warn her that saying it after Biden talks about the importance of stopping GENOCIDE.
Her response after Biden's story about his family and being a single parent was cringe inducing too.

The 2008 Vice Presidential Debate (Governer Sarah Palin (R) Vs. Sentator Joe Biden (D))
10/03/08, 08:59 Biden won.
First of all, because unlike his opponent he could answer questions and string together a coherent sentence.
Second of all, because independents and voters in general who watched overwhelming said Biden won.
Pundits are about as relevant as Lindsay Lohan. I swear to God, I heard on CNN "Palin won because she didn't collapse on stage".

Fire Sale
10/03/08, 00:33 Although I think this is hilarious by itself, AD does rely on a lot of references to past episodes and in-jokes.

Biden says that Roosevelt was president when Great Depression started, appeared on TV
10/03/08, 00:31 Yeah, Biden screwed up big here.
By the way, did you watch the debates? Because he just made Sarah Palin look like I Am Sam.
