Sarah Palin on what newspapers she reads most

Don't try to bullshit me, buddy. I've seen Northern Exposure. I know what I'm talking about.

Alaska is a microcosm of America? Weird, cause I don't see any drunk Eskimos and moose hunters around here.

So what do you think: Did she just blank on any news sources other than People and Guns&Ammo, or is it just that her default answer to any question is to avoid any semblance of specifics or facts, followed by a quirky reference to life in provincial Alaska?

No, don't go inside! The tires are waiting in ambush for you!

Oops, not meant as reply. But while I'm here:

"Number two, because you're a stupid fuckwad, who thinks making kicking motions and whining at an angry lynx is a good idea."

So that's what a lynx sounds like: a person doing a bad impression of a lynx.
Steve Doocey and John McCain Play Gotcha.
09/30/08, 19:26

It exists. A Palin aide confirmed its going to be released shortly. And there's a shiny new "can't name a newspaper" clip in the hopper. Last week she repeatedly stated the exact opinion on Pakistan that McCain attacked Obama over. And earlier today she claimed Biden was too old, and we needed change and new faces in Washington. And about five minutes ago, she claimed that unions were the key to great healthcare.

Seriously: Is Sarah Palin actually a brilliant woman working hard at taking down McCain?

John McCain mutters 'Horse Shit' during debate

Sounds like he's saying "horseshit" the first time, "course not" the second. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here, and just say he pronounced it weird.

Either way, stars for American's all hearing "horseshit" at the debates. I can only hope the profanity increases at the VP debate.

Ya see? Asking Palin about retaliatory air strikes into Pakistan IS exactly like asking "What's MY favorite color". They are both completely unfair "gotcha" questions by a biased media.

You know the reason they are all pushing this ridiculous talking point right? It is because its their only hope of diffusing the yet-to-be-released Couric interview in which Palin can't name a single Supreme Court case other than Roe v Wade.

Also most of the same people who strongly oppose it, also think we desperately need to pass it. Which makes sense really.

John McCain:
"In all due respect, people going around and... sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that's--that's a person's position... This is a free country, but I don't think most Americans think that that's a definitive policy statement made by Governor Palin."

Aka, Sarah Palin is not authorized to speak for Sarah Palin.

She explained her position in detail to a voter and its wasn't a hurried or misunderstood answer. And we damn well know the context didn't influence her answer because she repeated the same position to Charlie Gibson in their previous interview.

Can you not somehow just admit you two disagree? Obama and Biden admit to different positions all the time. Why the ventriloquism act?

All these facts about Rick Sanchez are true, but that doesn't mean that crazy evangelical guy is rational. He would have said the same thing about Wolf Blit...Larry Ki...Glenn Be...Nancy...

Okay, so maybe Alamo has a point.
Tina Fey as Palin, again.

The media knows Palin and her staff watched it together on her plane without laughing. Yet Palin claims "I thought it was very funny. I watched it with the sound off. But the impressions were good"

In order to address the parody of her idiocy, she'd have to acknowledge its existence first.

Naw, the Democratic leadership aren't that smart. Its just Republicans shooting themselves in the foot.

More specifically, Republicans knew they would be screwed if the bill failed, but would be helped if they gave the minimal votes and let Democrats pass it. The latter was likely to happen until McCain intervened and endorsed an "poison-pill" plan. Then House Republicans saw it an an endorsement of scuttling the bill, at a time they were already on the defensive about reelection. McCain is then caught off guard by the House GOPs support for an alternative he endorsed.
