While being annoyed at star ratings is worth poking fun of, the "originally geared toward children" is utterly asinine.
Some of the best movies and literature were not only "originally geared toward children", but are still today written with them in mind. It's not like adults are prohibited from enjoying Pixar because there's not enough sex and swearing. And it's not like this film will be any less appropriate for adults than the dozen or action movies released around it that feature torture porn and tits.

The Wolverine cameo from X-Men: First Class would have worked great if they hadn't already done it.
My ideal cameo would be to see Tobey MaGuire tapdancing in a club right before it's utterly flattened in the middle of the Avengers grand battle.

Eh, maybe Thor, since that one seems to be the most focused on setting up the Avengers, and the others stand on their own as great films.
Either way, I'm not quite sure how the idea of several superhero movies to set up the grand nerd crossover that would have been unheard of a decade ago is a bad thing. It's like getting that extra season of Arrested Development as setup for the upcoming movie. Sure it won't live up to expectations, but I'm still glad they're trying.

He has a Master's Degree in Computer Science, worked Ballistics for the Navy, and spent decades as a business manager. He knows that the proposals he's suggesting are utterly idiotic, but he also knows that's what sells in the far right.
No one with any experience in government or business whatsoever could treat his major proposal of "no Congressional bills longer than three pages" as anything other than a farce which wouldn't accomplish what it intends. But the base is run by emotion and anger now, not logic and compromise. And Herman Cain, fast food executive, knows how to give short-sighted entitled consumers what they ask for, not what they need.

No, since our legal, philosophical and cultural understanding of what it means to be American is continuously changing (despite those idiots who claim they are in lock-step with the founding fathers intent, blissfully ignorant to the fact that they were a diverse and argumentative body of philosophies), it's wrong to try and label those who are trying to change it un-American, although if they're ideas are stupid, it's fine to call them delusional idiots.

I'd ask what would happen if she decided she didn't want to issue licences for interracial couples (because the white majority should have a referendum to determine what rights blacks are allowed), but it's not even a hypothetical. That literally happened just a few months ago in Louisiana.
It's really common for people to do work for clients even when they disagree with their goals or lifestyle, or have to enforce laws they disagree with. Why does she shouldn't have to be as professional as lawyers, doctors, designers, engineers, accountants, police officers, and every other type of government official?

The idea of FEMA camps isn't hard to believe because they exist. A federal emergency management agency should be prepared to deal with refugees in the event of a disaster, although their use in holding illegal immigrants is more dodgy. Nor for that matter is it hard to believe innocent Americans would be indefinitely detained without trial for their political belief since that's also happening already.
What is hard to believe, is any of the crap Alex Jones says, as opposed to the real reporting done by by people like Glenn Greenwald. It's the minorities that Alex Jones rants against that suffer, not well-off, poorly educated white male conservatives who fear government for the very reason that it's a democracy. They hate and fear the fact that they are only mostly in charge, not completely. |

Yes, shortly after the pilgrims arrived, they founded Hollywood, in which the founding fathers approved only those films which promoted Christianity (and none of that Unitarian/Catholicism type bullshit). This was around the time when all those Indians mysteriously disappeared and just before the blacks started getting uppity. Let's get back to that history I think actually happened.
