My Life Is Avatar - Republic City News
07/06/11, 14:29 Anyone can make a terrible video. Few have the dedication to turn it into a terrible lifestyle.
Still, at least they aren't yiffing in smurf costumes like the other Avatar crowd. In the land of the blind, the one who isn't having ponytail sex in blue facepaint is king.

The land's preeminent legal commentator, Nancy Grace, declares that the Devil is Dancing
07/06/11, 02:36 I think it's because Glenn is an entertainer. He's playing to an audience that misinformed, paranoid, and driven by fear and anger, but it's still all about giving the audience a spectacle. He reminds me of the old revival preachers, who'd use snakes one town, tongues another, based on what played with the crowd. He started as a morning zoo-crew DJ, and has only really changed his audiences.
Nancy is just a little ball of smug superiority and hatred. That this happens to be marketable is icing on the cake for her. Otherwise she's be at home leaving 10 page rants on the AOL News comments section about how someone needs to take their gun and do something (but not her).

The land's preeminent legal commentator, Nancy Grace, declares that the Devil is Dancing
07/06/11, 00:57 If the desire to execute someone depends on the cuteness of the little white girls (Nancy's stock in trade) they're accused of hurting, then you're doing it wrong.
I would watch a My Little Pony show however, if the element of harmony was Death incarnate and his sidekick, life imprisonment. |

The land's preeminent legal commentator, Nancy Grace, declares that the Devil is Dancing
07/06/11, 00:53 No, not Osama, Hitler! You're doing it wrong.
Even if we actually knew she was guilty of 1st degree murder (as opposed to neglect or accidental manslaughter) I find Nancy's implication that the little dead girl suffers when we don't murder her mother to be bizarre. If you don't believe in an afterlife, then the girl is beyond caring. If you do, then I doubt a little girl in heaven enjoying the infinite compassion of God has bloodlust. In fact, the only way it makes sense is if the little girl is in hell, hoping her mother joins her. Which... might be what she's thinking. No one can predict what occurs in Nancy Grace's head.

The land's preeminent legal commentator, Nancy Grace, declares that the Devil is Dancing
07/05/11, 22:52 Don't you monsters understand! If we kill the mom, then her daughter comes back to life! Jesus demands blood sacrifice for a resurrection.
My prayers go out to Nancy Grace, to help her get through this ordeal. I remember that after she accused that mom of killing her daughter, then the mom killed herself, then the mom was demonstratively proven innocent, Nancy retired for almost two days to eat cookie dough and watch Saw movies. This time I suspect she might need a whole week off.

Bibleman - Shadow of Doubt
07/05/11, 16:28 You can judge a man by the quality of his enemies, as well as his friends.
Bibleman's enemies say 'fiddle-dee-dee' while engaging in frantic tap dance. His friends aren't much better.

Son Of Strelka, Son Of God (The Obama Project)
07/05/11, 16:14 I'm bored of the whole "Is Obama Christian or Muslim, atheist or satanist" bullshit. It's been done before with every political leader and all comes from the same limited, archaic belief system.
He need to put an end to it and give us something new to discuss by calling a national address and proclaiming, "I am Obama, the eater of Darkness and Lies, born of Strelka the cursed, who forcefully planted his seed in the womb of ox that births the stars. I have come to destroy all illusions and leave nothing but the despair and isolation that comes from true understanding of humanities twisted purpose. Beg not for your lives, as they pass like ripples in a stream, transient and insignificant to the ocean that connects all things. I speak to you now of the dreams that are to come, not because you could ever hope to prepare yourselves, but so that there will be no moment in which you can hide from your fate. Your children will feast on your marrow and you will be grateful. Thank you, and God Bless America." |

Final Combat's Meet the Fatman Video
07/04/11, 20:38 It imitates, but doesn't comprehend.
The style, character design and music fits, but there's no purpose or punchline to it. Which from the related videos, appears to hold true for the gameplay as well.

Understanding Lolicon
07/04/11, 17:33 In a way, he's persuaded me. I'm not convinced that marketing animated incestuous bestiality-based rape fantasies of slave girls with huge eyes, childlike facial features and massive tits are made significantly worse by reducing breast size and pretending it's younger. Of course that utterly fails to enhance my opinion of him or Japan in any way.

Understanding Lolicon
07/04/11, 14:31 "Look man, it's crazy to blame people for how certain photons bounce off objects and are interpreted by the eye! It's the fault parents and elementary physics that they 'perceived' me masturbating in the bushes next to the playground, and their neurons 'interpreted' that as offensive based on totally subjective standards. If only they'd grown up in a more enlightened culture like Japan, they'd understand."

Understanding Lolicon
07/04/11, 13:20 I recommend massive NSFW tags. There's no nudity (that I saw), but I can't imagine anyone who sees you watching this would ever speak to you again without the presence of a baliff or plexiglass security cage.
It seems like the only difference between kiddy porn anime and the other kind, is a shorter stature and realistic breast size. Of course, that doesn't make either one better.

Glee 'R' word PSA
06/29/11, 13:50 The difference is that 'retarded' is used to apply broadly to things that are bad or ignorant, and it's a medical condition people suffer from. It's like people calling things they don't like 'gay'. It's not wrong to say 'gay', or recognize that people are that way, only to use it as a substitute word for things you scorn and hate.
I'm not picking a side by the way, I'm just saying the argument against using the word isn't as ridiculous as it's portrayed. |

Michele Bachmann's Story of America
06/29/11, 12:40 She previously asserted that the Founding Fathers ended slavery, then claimed some of them opposed slavery so she's still right (specifically citing people who owned slaves). She gets her history from Christian historian David Barton, who is know to just make shit up.
Currently, she's refusing to back down from her statement that John Quincy Adams was an active leader in the Revolutionary War. Even though he was 9 years old at the time.
I get the impression that if she read "Dogs can fly" from a teleprompter, she'd be tossing collies off rooftops and claiming vindication.

Sleepy Beauty-Prince Phillip battles Maleficent
06/29/11, 01:05 Aurora is probably is the least interesting of them all. She's the only one whose name I always forget. Well except Tiana, but at least she has the excuse of mostly appearing as a frog and in the worst movie.
I checked Wikipedia to confirm that by the way, and found that there is an official and authoritative list of 'Disney Princesses', and that there are various legal and philosophical disputes over who makes it. For example, Amy Adams was on there, until Disney realized it would have to pay to use her likeness. Fantasy and reality and collide in very strange ways. |
