I did play DN3D, and there are moments in this game like the scene Old_Zircon linked to that are worse than that:
Mark-Kate and Ashley Olsen: "Duke, we were raped by an alien, but are going to mention we had sex lots of times before that, to emphasize that we're sluts!"
Duke: "Hmm, then I guess you deserve your horrible death."
*horrible death*
Duke: "Time to run around murdering moaning women by punching their tits, while saying how sad it is that it's always the pretty ones who get raped. Because now I don't get to fuck them. Which is all they're good for."
More importantly, your point seems to be that because it's meant to be offensive, you can't understand how people are "offended by these kind of shenanigans." It doesn't have to be surprising to be stupid. |

They talk about how it appeals to 'fat idiots', and I think that's actually more true than usual. Usually those words are simply grouped together, but here I think being fat is literally a requirement for enjoying this movie.
A thin idiot would laugh at talking animals and farts, but wonder 'Why the hell is he throwing away everything he cares about to pursue this shallow woman he's no connection with? If he could get her in the first place, he can find someone reasonably attractive who respects his career.'
Whereas a fat idiot is thinking, 'He must give up everything (except weight) to buy the pretty lady because that is the only way someone pretty will like him and he must end up with her because I want to believe I can too.'

That clip is just like if someone took Prey (a five-year old, B-quality Xbox game) and turned down the graphical quality, lights, and color scheme, removed the AI and enemy diversity, got rid of the level designers and artists, and took out all interesting ideas including artificial gravity, portals, spirit-walking and multiple colliding civilizations sharing the same space, and only added to this bare-bones framework a healthy dose of angry sexually-frustrated misogyny.

It starts with FPS shooter finicky jumping onto dark platforms in a dark environment above instadeath while the character grunts each time. That's like asking players to remember a 26-character hexidecimal for save files when '0/O', 'S/5' and '1/l' are identical. Yes, games used to do it, but it's still a decision that shows complete laziness or contempt for the players, or both.

Little kids don't magically stop being moody and fickle and burst into storybook delight because Tinkerbell spreads pixie dust when told they're going to Disney. That'll happen when you load him up with sugar and buy him a plastic light-saber at obscene prices. Until five minutes later when he's moody again. Because that's what kids are.

If people can freely change the church and the rules of God, then there's no divine basis for believing anything it says, just agreement with whatever parts seem rational.

Yes, religious discrimination is probably a better term to use than racism. But a more apropos analogy would be refusing to serve Italians, and saying it's because you hate Catholics. The fact that the person is ignorant or mistaken about where most Catholics are from doesn't make him not racist. And Cain's discriminatory policies are bigotry, regardless of whether it's coupled with otherwise legitimate criticism of the ideology. When the discrimination comes in the form of taking away rights of other people based on looks and ancestry, racism is still involved.

The question asked was "Would you be comfortable appointing a Muslim in your cabinet or as a federal judge". His answer was "No. I will not." And then he went on for several minutes about why he would never appoint a Muslim:

So his answer is a completely lie, and his fabricated explanation still makes no sense. He's claiming he meant "I was thinking of American-killing terrorist Muslims, so I would appoint them, I just wouldn't be comfortable around them."

I know the schizophrenia tag isn't a medical diagnosis, but whether it's creationism, or the gold standard, or government conspiracies, or new-age fortune treatments, it's just way too common for people to latch onto an easily rebuttable theory, then absorb only that information which supports it due to confirmation bias, and lack of effort into actual research.
Sometimes I think the only difference between this guy, and over 50% of the people I meet, is that they either keep quiet about their crazy beliefs, or there's enough people who agree with them that they don't have to.
