Ordering a McGangBang
10/05/10, 18:11

No, its the patty and one piece of bun, preferably the top half. Then the bread balances like a Big Mac, as opposed to being over or underwhelmed.

While I'm aware there is some debate on this, the point is I'm right.

Parks and Rec was pretty awesome last season, better than 30 Rock.
Christine O'Donnell is not a witch
10/05/10, 13:46

Oh, I get it! By saying "I am you", she's both denying she's a witch, and coming out as a masturbator.

10/05/10, 12:10

In all seriousness, it is the year 2010 and a Congressional candidate that denies scientific evidence on evolution, global warming and the age of the earth, promises a Christian fundamentalist government and war against the Muslims, and wants to prohibit all non-marital sex or masturbation, is having to still defend herself to Christian conservatives against allegations that she is a witch.

If Christopher Buckley had written that as a satire five years ago, they'd have told him it was too over the top and unrealistic.

You expect a welfare recipient's hookers to be a 10 out of 10? Or that the quality of a subplot depends on a woman's looks?

Its a fairly basic and common story act. It would have taken a good writer/director to do it justice, but it took a specularly bad one to mangle it as horribly as George.

"Lets make the first movie focus its conflict on a trade embargo that has nothing to do with the main arc. We'll keep the main characters apart for large parts of the movie, and fill that time with bad child actors and goofy CGI stereotypes. The second movie's conflict will also be mostly irrelevant to the main arc. The main character be a brooding immature sociopath who lusts for the female lead, who seduces him while saying they can't be together. It's important that they have no chemistry. Finally we'll end with our hero agreeing to trust a shady villain's insinuation he might someday save his healthy wife, in exchange for becoming a mass murderer of children. Then he kills his wife. Remember, if you're ever in doubt, just remove continuity and add CGI."

"Fine, fine, we'll take out the pointed hat, and replace the moon pendant with pearls. But we're leaving in the all black clothing, ominous smoky background and creepy stare. Otherwise how else are people supposed to know she's a witch?

...oh, not a witch? Huh. We may need a reshoot."

There's something very wrong about the fact that I'm more excited for this review than the first three prequels combined.

That's not fair. Mannish looks and lesbianism aren't correlated, except sometimes in fashion choices. There's no reason he can't be a rather unfortunate straight girl.

He/She has a profile link to its Persona 3 Role-Playing Website, "Stroke of Midnight", in which a small group of lonely high-schoolers pretend to be video game characters who are lonely high-schoolers making small talk. The site also has a Romance section, fanfiction and art section full or requests and people wishing they could make fanfiction or art, and requires people who don't post for a week to provide advance notice and an explanation why, or get deleted.

"Jesus was beaten, tortured, mocked"

Well if you think those things are equivalent, I can see why you're so upset. Please, continue denigrating other people as "subhuman monkeys". I'm sure nothing bad could come from that.

Stewart! Colbert! Pelosi! Sharpton! RESTORING SANITY at the mall
10/04/10, 19:04

Let me try and recap:

- Two minutes of metal and mutant sheep, devoid of context.
- A minute of Obama as a chill sexy merman.
- A minute of Bloodhound Gang while scrolling text highlights a few gaffes, and a lot of completely made up nonsense (did you know Gordon Brown was blind?).
- A minute of Kevin Costner reciting an Obama speech to prove that racism doesn't exist.
- OBAMA DRINKS URINE!
- Headless Olbermann singing Kenny Loggins
- Obama looking good, then flashcuts to black and Muslim men.
- WHAT THE FUCK ARE ARMS?!?
- More Kenny Loggins.
- Black people are monkeys. But its not racist because Kevin Costner.
- Obama is Patrick Ewing. And a stick figure wimp.
- I give the fuck up.
Some of my best friends are atheists!
10/04/10, 15:07

God = good, atheism = bad. Therefore all good things come from God, and all bad things from atheism.

Remember, without the 10 Commandments, society wouldn't exist, and therefore nothing good that society created. Because faith means you can't do anything bad, bad things result from atheism. If we lived in a world where we didn't think God would punish us for our misdeeds, I and all others would simply rape, rob and murder indiscriminately, and society couldn't exist.

Stop perpetuating the ugly stereotype that non-Jews are skinflint cheapskates!
Fox News: Did the Bible Predict the Global Economic Meltdown?
10/04/10, 09:25

The religious right in this country is literally rewriting the Bible, condemning the Gospels, and actively working on behalf of Satan to bring about the end of the world. I have quoted Jesus to fundamentalist Christians and been called an un-American communist.

We've gone beyond 'twisting the meaning' and 'ignoring the meaning' to 'being an active subversion' of Christianity. If we ever do manage to restore sanity, I have to wonder how these people will be viewed by history. Spiritualists and Hollow-Earth theorists weren't this nuts.
Batgirl's Creepy Origin

I don't think you can fit into that suit and be called 'fat'. That said, its hard to buy her as an action hero when there isn't a single line that conveys more emotion than 'casual interest'. I'd easier believe that her character in Clueless transforms into an astrophysicist.

Watching this film was the only time I saw someone literally piss themselves laughing. Well, while sober anyway.
Bratz Secret Date Commercial
10/03/10, 15:40

So two possibilities:

1) The doll represents an underage girl currently dating at least three guys at the same time, who was asked out without knowing which did so or bothering to check. Because the date stated that they were going to a "Bad-80's Music Video" themed dance, she dresses in skimpy clothing and high heel boots in black leather while wearing an excessive of makeup and hairspray, and her date wears sunglasses at night.

2) The doll looks and acts like a hooker, because its a hooker.

Right Wing Radio Duck

"A scene that comes right the fuck outta nowhere, has little to no bearing whatsoever on the plot, is way over the top in terms of ridiculousness even in the context of the movie, and after it happens, no one ever speaks of it again." - TV Tropes

I suppose his context is just more insanity. But he does seem to consistently top himself and subjects topics and logic to more sudden shifts than a Formula One driver with Parkinson's.

This is a classic example of appropriate "Fair Use". If they want to fight the inevitable Disney (or Beck) takedown notice, I'd gladly chip in for the legal defense.
