Richard Dawkins on morality

You criticize people for something you do in that same statement (the second statement is a non-sequitur) and retreat into "You all care and I don't so I win". That's pretty much a textbook example of a comment fail.
Richard Dawkins on morality

Yes, because suggesting that life may have arisen more than once somewhere in a nearly infinitely vast universe in a process consistent with past observations and the laws of nature is just as plausible as an all-powerful all-knowing being that can freely defy all laws of nature and causality and whose existence is speculated simply as an anthropomorphized answer to all questions we can't otherwise answer and is by definition immune from all forms of skeptical inquiry yet can leave evidence of its existence but chooses not to except possibly in the forms of whispering to people across the world contradictory and inconsistent accounts in the form of religion. Earthworm Jim (Sega CD) Bad Ending
09/10/10, 18:21

That's totally unfair. People who beat the game on "Practice" aren't going to appreciate this great ending.

I vote Pullum. Excepting Elena of course.

Boy, this movie was even shittier than it looked.
Zero Punctuation: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Apparently owls.

The last two games I played, Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption, used extensive cover shooting. Its not bad in itself, but it is getting overused.

I think the last one is actually the creepiest, as he follows them out of frame.
'Still Alive' sung by the Anime Expo 2010 Valve Gathering

I've never been to a 'Con' or gotten enthused enough about any of my geek tastes to put it towards creative output. But sometimes people like this make me wish I had.
Rapid Fossilization of Hats Debunked

At this point I think its time to move on from Creationists (fun as they are) and tackle some of the sci-fi nuts and scientific hoaxers as he did so competently here.
The Bible Game (availible for the Xbox or PS2)

I'm fascinated by the psychological impact of "Do Unto Others". The implication is that if you don't help your opponent win, you are a bad Christian. But then why bother trying at the game in the first place?
Mr. Show - The Last Donut

Haha... wait, what?
The Pre-Taped Call-In Show
08/29/10, 23:02

One of the best sketches ever made.

Really.
Mr. Show - Gibbon's Market
08/29/10, 22:56

This is really brilliant.

I'm not sure if this is the best Mr. Show sketch. That may be "Pre-Taped Call-In Show". But it is my personal favorite.
ONN - Obama Drastically Scales Back Goals For America After Visiting Denny's

THE TRUE MEANING OF THE 'A-OK' SIGN

Dude, spoiler alert!

...okay the eyebreaking font and glacial pace meant the answer was obvious, but still.
ZEVO-3 from NickToons

See, my first impression was that the city is old (clearly it takes time for a metropolis to develop), and the mad scientist and his mutant army are new (otherwise this conflict would have been already addressed).

Go children! Fight against change and for the status quo!
Stroke Guy Reviews Attack of the Clones.
08/29/10, 16:46

"And now we gotta sit through this seizure inducing battle with two forces we don't care about: robots and clones. At least in the last movie, we mighta sorta cared about the Gungans a litt.... Oh CHRIST! I'm referencing The Phantom Menace as a positive example!?!"

Part 9 in particular, he stops trying to be funny (although he still is) and simply compares the analogous parts of Empire and Clone wars. Its devastating and as good a film review as I've ever heard.
Pat Condell - No Mosque at Ground Zero
08/29/10, 10:34

Miskimo: I know.

Al-Qaeda and the extremist fringes of Islam consider moderates a greater enemy than the West. My point was that banning American Muslims near the WTC is like banning a Protestant Church near a Catholic IRA bombing site, because they're both part of "Christian ideology".

Probably could have made that analogy clearer.
Pat Condell - No Mosque at Ground Zero
08/29/10, 02:06

I find the idea that "Islam" is an ideology humorous. It's like saying Unitarians, Catholics, Satanists and Adventists share an ideology. Its amazing that they even allow Protestant churches in London, what with those IRA bombings and all. Pat here is not so much painting with broad strokes, as imagining evil demon Nazi Muslims under his bed.

"Any religion that endorses personal violence doesn't have the right to call itself a religion". So none of the major religions exist then? Because even Buddhism doesn't meet that standard.

Too jittery to push a button, not too jittery to make a very nice hat. I need to know more of this man's story.
