'Making fun of Obama for Idiots.'
02/02/09, 22:29 This would have been better had this guy not forgotten to take his anti-douche pills while filming. |

video game wants your children to convert to islam
02/02/09, 22:28 From the GamePolitics.com, who actually talked to the publisher of the game and not Nintendo:
"In creating the Nintendo DS game “Baby Pals”, the game developer Brain Toys / InXile used sounds files to simulate the life like baby noises and babbling. The sounds are publicly available for license. It is a recording of a 5 month old baby babbling non-intelligible phrases."
I like how it takes a videogame blog two seconds to solve this sinister Muslim conspiracy. I wonder why this lady is stuck reporting in Retard, IN for the rest of her life? |

NanoFactory
02/02/09, 16:53 Obviously no one knows the timeframe but many people don't think it's unreasonable that we could see this technology in our lifetimes. Or it could all be futurist masturbation fantasy.
From the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology:
Molecular manufacturing is the use of programmable chemistry to build exponential manufacturing systems and high-performance products. There are several ways this can be achieved, each with its own benefits and drawbacks. This technology is coming soon—almost certainly within 20 years, and perhaps in less than a decade. When it arrives, it will come quickly. Molecular manufacturing can be built into a self-contained, tabletop factory that makes cheap products efficiently at molecular scale. The time from the first assembler to a flood of powerful and complex products may be less than a year.

02/02/09, 16:41 Fine then. You don't get an atomically precise laptop. |

The Creation Adventure Team
02/02/09, 11:26 Also now having watched the clip in full. This is really really horrible. Needs child abuse tag. |

The Creation Adventure Team
02/02/09, 11:10 I've actually seen the original version of that dino-friend thing. The guy who made it, Doug Henderson, was a teacher at my school and was my old roommate's mentor in the special effects department. My roommate would come home with all these weird conspiracies about scientists faking fossil finds to fit into their sinister evolution timeline or filing down skulls to make them look like ape ancestors or something. I always wondered why the hell he was always talking about that shit until I found out what that dinosaur was actually for. It all makes sense now. |

100 Yard Interception for a Touchdown
02/02/09, 10:44 In general I don't really care about watching professional sports but, it's a lot more interesting when you're in a Pittsburgh bar filled with Steelers fans. The bar exploded for 10 minutes after this play. In general overexcited football fans are annoying as hell but on Superbowl night, while plenty drunk, it's pretty fun. Also being able to flood the streets after the game and high five everyone in town is sweet too. |

Superman - Say No to Cigarettes
02/01/09, 04:08 The animation is really fucking good. Sad it was wasted on an ad that will save no one from cigarettes and is pretty pointless all around. |

Wolf Animation Tutorial
01/30/09, 20:33 Oh, looks like she does have a light table. Not sure why it's not on in this then. |
 |
Wolf Animation Tutorial
01/30/09, 20:31 Actually it would go faster if she was using a light table. If you shine a light through the bottom of your pages you can see the next frame without having to flip constantly. That's why animators use them. Usually you only flip to see how the movement is looking.
Also "off-model" doesn't mean inconsistency in grimaces, it means not consistent with the model sheet. Which she probably doesn't have. Because she seems to just be doing this without any training or having read any books on the subject.
So that will make her final product more impressive if she finishes it. Unfortunately more impressive than mediocre isn't that great. But hey at least she's not sitting around masturbating on her plushies.
Her drawing's are nice though. If unoriginal. |

Kitty Cam
