Countdown: teabaggers and tax havens
04/16/09, 07:23

I'm actually with him on fuck rich tax dodgers, but to be fair, if corporations did have to pay those taxes, prices would just go up, and we'd foot the bill anyway. The shareholders and the CEOs aren't willing to take the hit in their pocketbooks just to do something unpalatable, like pay taxes to the government that provides all the services that they use on a day to day basis.

What is that sound? My cat makes it too but only when talking to birds.

Super Size Me (whole movie)
04/11/09, 11:32

The best part of this whole movie is the little kid answering the "Can you tell me who this is?" question with "George W. Bush"
Ducktales-- The Quest for Gold

This game was too hard for my 8 year old C64 game playing skills. I remember never being able to finish any of the mountain climbing or jungle levels. Of course trying to control games on the C64 was like trying to teach the mentally handicapped to make a baby.

And so is To Kill a Mockingbird. Yes, it's a story that uses a contrived set of facts to draw attention to a societal problem, but it doesn't mean that you can just write off its point with a wave of your hand. Obviously in the real world there's almost always more doubt and uncertainty in the facts than are present in these stories. But allowing that fact to justify disdain for the message and adherence to your prejudices is rocking some mean ignorance, dude.

Twelve Angry Men

We did a performance of this for eighth grade english in junior high, and it's one of my favorite movies. Regrettably it remains socially apt.

Bill O'Reilly pushes Obama Goon
03/12/09, 16:47

Hey Bill, tell your mom that when she closes the blinds to shower, she's violating my freedom of the press. I'm just trying to defend the constitution by filming her snatch.
Everything Is Adorable
03/06/09, 07:18

There's something about the DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH noise and the flashing kitty mouth/zoom that terrifies me at the core of my being. It's like it taps into some kind of subliminal human fright.
'I'm SO Passionate About Cup Stacking!'
