Finally, I've been asking around for people's opinions about this game, it'd be nice to hear from some of the other POE users.
I've been tempted by this for a while, the idea behind it sounds awesome, but it's hard to ignore bad press, so it's nice to hear someone's enjoying it despite that.
You may be able to answer my biggest question about the game, Stanley; how much grind is there in the game? As fun as it sounds, it's being classified as an MMO. I have no interest in going on the same 'raid' twice a week to fight with 40 other spiteful nerds over an item that likely won't show up to begin with. If the game requires 10-20 hours a week just to keep up with the community, there's no chance it's for me.
Truth be told, if I did pick it up, I'd mostly be playing it with a single friend when we both had time for co-op, so it would be nice to know we'd be able to enjoy it as such without worrying about guilds and all that time consuming crap.
Also: How are vehicles in the game? Every time someone makes a game set in a Mad Max kind of world, they always seem to miss out on the chance to do something badass with it. God, vehicles in borderlands were shit. |

I've got to admit, this really does put things into perspective, a lot.
I'd say I have a far more stressful job than your average non-military person, I've wanted to yell at people before, mostly for work related stuff. That said, even I can't imagine the kind of pressure some of these guys must be under.
This is a weird question, EH, but I'm curious; how does everyone look at the cooks? Those guys catch a lot of shit? |
