The PS3 has more exclusive FPSs that run along the lines of Resistance, MAG, and Haze. The 360 has more JRPGs like Magna Carta 2 and various forgettable titles who'se name I don't care to look up.
At any rate, most of what I was saying about my friend took place in the Ps2/Xbox days. |

Honestly, the American market for games is getting better and better all the time. We're seeing less imports as a result, while games like Uncharted, Mass Effect, and God of War are taking the spotlight.
Really, the only company that still brings over the majority of it's titles is Nintendo these days, but that's only because Nintendo is the only company that gives a fuck about the wii (rightly so, I might add). |

I don't know, calling them a loser for no reason or to relate to the other kids seem a bit too much, especially if he's actually taking off points.
I'm not against the idea of outright insulting the kids who score poorly and don't try, though. Some of them could use a stronger message. |

I can already see it. Some greedy person or corporation really wants the last tree so that he can have the ultimate in luxery furniture or something. Or maybe he wants to have wood chips to smoke a rack of ribs, or something even pettier.
Meanwhile, protagonist group (with at least one talking animal or fantasy creature, probably the last of it's kind) needs to keep the tree because they'll die without it, and throw in some subplot about how it can be used to bring nature back to the universe or something.
Throw in some Happy-Feet-esque power guilting, and you've got the perfect kid's movie. |

I have one friend who is a diehard MS supporter. He seriously gets pissed at me when I buy a PS3 game. Thing he, this guy's favorite games are things like JRPGs, those 'nippon ichi' strategy games, guilty gears, basically everything the Playstation has been home to forever. EVERY time a buy a new game for the PS3 we go though a cycle: he declares I'm wasting my money and shouldn't support such a heartless company, suggests the game will be crap, sees me play it, declares it's stupid the company is losing all this money by making it a PS3 exclusive, then restates his hope that sony goes out of business so that EVERY game will be a 360 title.
Oh, then it usually ends with him trying to borrow my PS3. |

Basically, some people (sony fans, I guess. I can't imagine they're just square fans, it wouldn't make sense that they wouldn't want the game to be multi console and sell better) feel that MS 'stole' final fantasy away from sony because they're a big dumb evil corporation etc, and are loyal to sony, hence this. Does it make sense? No. I can understand if they bought a P3, couldn't afford a 360, then this was announced as 360 only, leaving them out of the game they bought the console for, but that's not the case, so this is dumb. |
