(Current 2nd best) World Record RVZ1
02/22/10, 19:08 The early 3D Sonic games were nowhere near as bad as this. That would come later. |

Ren and Stimpy: The Video Game
02/22/10, 18:58 My favorite is Batman for NES. Right out of the gate, it's got Batman shooting a gun, and what I'm guessing are flying ninja robots. |

Ren and Stimpy: The Video Game
02/22/10, 18:53 Buckaroo$ was fine if you were a kid and only had a few games. Sloppy controls won't stop you from playing. This game was a decent (if easy) platformer with neat moves. You can switch between Ren or Stimpy at any time and you use the other guy to do moves.
A lot of old games can be beaten in a few minutes on a speed-run, it doesn't mean they're bad. And this is a licensed game... usually they don't go to such lengths to include graphics and sound that are reminiscent of the show. It's short, it's easy, but IMO not shovelware. |

Homophobic CPAC speaker gets booed off stage.
02/22/10, 18:39 didn't mean to imply CPAC was a group, more like the family reunion where everybody has to tolerate each other |

For the Record - Let Uganda Kill Their Gays
02/22/10, 18:22 The Old Testament is there to lend credibility to what was once a new religion. The important bits are where a messiah is prophesied; the rest doesn't factor into Christian doctrine; Jesus himself makes the point in many ways
Religious appropriation is common. Yahweh was one of many gods the Hebrews had in their polytheistic days, Moses & Jesus are in the Qu'ran as examples of prophets in league with Mohammed, Mormons use Smith's rewrite of the Bible, many Christian holidays coincide with pagan ones, etc. Hell, look at what Schlafly's up to.
But Christ as the Jewish messiah is probably the best and most fleshed-out example of religious appropriation ever, and IMO one of the things that makes Christianity so interesting. Has fuck all to do with Leviticus, though. |

For the Record - Let Uganda Kill Their Gays
02/22/10, 01:38 I hope she pretends he doesn't exist, and the rest of the world follows suit. If this guy gets a radio show I'm going to flip my shit. |

For the Record - Let Uganda Kill Their Gays
02/22/10, 01:36 Oh what the hell, I'm guilty of the same crime, what with being a citizen of a place that has two classes of citizen when it comes to marriage rights in most states. |

For the Record - Let Uganda Kill Their Gays
02/22/10, 01:23 Christians: this is why we don't like you. Do something about him. |

For the Record - Let Uganda Kill Their Gays
02/22/10, 01:22 "When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord – Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?" |

History of Meth- The Salton Sea
02/22/10, 00:50 If I were putting together a police-state type government, I'd prefer it if everyone was stoned. It'd be just like that book about a police-state where everyone was stoned.
THC-sprayed tea would be banned in favor of spliffs though, because that shit is moronic. |

History of Meth- The Salton Sea
02/21/10, 18:17 This goddamn movie. |

Homophobic CPAC speaker gets booed off stage.
02/21/10, 01:49 The Republican party has just become this scattered, dysfunctional family, with Uncle Tom talking about how great Jim Crow was and Aunt Orly thinking the United States accidentally elected a foreign-born president. And CPAC and the Tea Parties and the Minutemen Project, etc... nobody wants to call out the other groups for being batshit. I think the one guy they're not willing to pretend to like for the sake of a unified front is Michael Steele. |

02/21/10, 01:00 no, no, "free speech" means you don't have to pay to say things to people. there are places in the world where you have to pay VAT, which means vocal & auditory tax. |

Thomas Bruso aka 'Epic Beard Man' Interview
02/21/10, 00:51 Subculture doesn't imply subjugation. It's a relatively modern word and it's easy enough to look at how it was defined when it was coined.
I agree with the rest. |
