Alvin and the Chipmunks' new song.
12/14/08, 17:54 I'm with fluffy. I might have even enjoyed it but it reminded me of every other crap tune that uses autotune as a cheap vocoder. |

Judge Judy: Man Wants Money for Babysitting His Kids
12/14/08, 17:34 Sounds like he was mad that she filed a claim for missing child support money, and brought the suit on principle. Even an opportunist joke of a judge like Judge Judy isn't going to be happy about a suit that exists because of a grudge rather than actual damges. |

Jim Norton tries to disrespect Norm MacDonald (and fails)
12/14/08, 17:10 That's not character for Norm, he left the womb like that. |
 |
Preview of a new documentary about the Church of Satan
12/14/08, 17:05 Anyone that hides rooms or staircases behind a bookshelf is cool in my book.
There are actually people with red makeup and horns during the rapid-fire cuts that the end. It's like people are trolling protestants. |

The Hat Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries with Pickles and Tomato
12/14/08, 16:19 Just regular HTML. Hope I haven't unleashed anything here. |
 |
He Sold His Soul to the Devil: Then God Stepped In
12/14/08, 16:15 No, I meant that rattail, if you can even call it that. It's like he's continuing the cycle of abuse. |

Trilobit - Doctor Demo (Atari 2600)
12/14/08, 16:02 Scene demos tend to be much more advanced (and trippy) than actual games.
Here is a high-rated NES demo:

Elizabeth Hasselbeck on Evolution
12/14/08, 14:59 I love how Whoopi Goldberg fully goes through the five stages of grief in a second or two after she gets what was said. |
 |
Bettie Page in 1950
12/13/08, 04:00 These five are for Carmonk. But Bettie gets some invisible ones that have sparkly butts. |
 |
iPhone "Hologram"
12/13/08, 03:46 MachDice does something similar (though obviously not rotation-based). The effect works better if you keep one eye closed.
I was just about to say how, apart from dead reckoning, there'd be no way for a device flat on a table to know which direction it was pointing. I'm glad I didn't say that, since compasses exist. |

Dame Darcy on Blind Date
12/13/08, 03:04 *camouflage |
 |
Dame Darcy on Blind Date
12/13/08, 03:01 I love how Roger Lodge gives GSN's "Camoflage" that extra dose of self-tanner and sadness. |

American Inventor - Psychic Bike Wheel...things
12/13/08, 02:56 That they do, but television is always staged because of the sheer cost of it. Editing costs the most, so it's better to have the guarantee of an actor than to just hope someone walks in and fails entertainingly.
Imagine you're the producer of a crappy reality tv show. Do you care about how authentic it is, or do you care about getting it done so you can get paid quicker and go do drugs in lonely hotel rooms?
If that doesn't convince you: check craigslist for NY & LA under tv/film/video. There's always plenty of job postings for "reality" shows.
I am usually annoyed it when people shout fake at everything, but...in all honesty, everything on television is fake, period. *No exceptions*. |

Robo-Dog-Flame-Cycle
12/13/08, 02:08 The crazy thing is, his dreams are all about baking cookies and cakes. |
 |
He Sold His Soul to the Devil: Then God Stepped In
12/13/08, 01:09 Clearly the guy in the diner was one of the boys who sodomized him. He knew all their names!
Also, 4:29. Wow. Wasn't expecting that. Gotta stop eating and watching poetv. |
 |
Monkey Island: The Movie trailer
12/13/08, 00:37 Can't go wrong with that soundtrack. But I am holding my stars in case he ever does a Beneath a Steel Sky (with Minority Report clips). |
 |
Bowling Ball Ramp Stunt
12/12/08, 01:58 In his defense, the wind does sound pretty harsh in the video.
It wouldn't have been that hard to try this trick with a tennis ball or something first. But I'm glad they didn't, because even though they lost a back window, we all won. |
 |
Dog in Suit Plays Piano
12/11/08, 03:24 Now let's see him do it without the letter names spelled on the keys. |
 |
Almost too close encounter with bears
12/11/08, 03:21 It seems somehow unfair to censor the swearing. If there's one time in your life you should get to swear and have people let it go, it's when you're damn close to a bear. |
 |
Scaryroll
12/10/08, 17:18 I have forced myself to sit through many of these now, and I came back to tell everyone that "Forever Scared" is by far the creepiest.
