The CU vs. FEC decision on its own is scary, but this is worse: anonymous donations being misused* to secretly bankroll someone that's publicly pro-corporate/anti-environmental. They know the public won't go for it (yet)... disgusting, all around.
* My understanding is that they're supposed be for specific issues, not running the same stupid "boo, Pelosi" ad, but if I'm wrong feel free to call me an ass. |

So that DF one is 8-bit. Less bits :D But it has memory, and a few other things that you need for a full computer.
On a side note, it's unfortunate that the blogs are calling that a Turing machine. Technically it's right (anything that can be rightly called a computer is one), but the one Turing described was a mathematical model and purposely stripped down. That DF one has a lot more to it.
