I have seconded many good suggestions above, but what I would like to see is A: a more reliable multi-part submission function, and B: more POETV user action on the old resubmit hopper. Pillager, myself and a few others are trying our best to keep many old links working, and it is not clear how many up-votes on resubs are needed. I see how if it were just one vote anybody could wreak havoc and change old submissions at will. The resubmit hopper has a prominent front page link, but it seems like it is ignored by many users here.
I am opposed to editing comments for reasons outlined by support.
As for front page privs, could not a rotating system be developed? a proportion of those with a track record of high stars and many subs (like those in the top 100, or top 50) could have them for a time, and then it would switch out to allow others? this might lead to abuse, but it might also lead to some interesting things popping up. just a thought. |
