In Russia truck BRING fire to you!
09/02/13, 15:58

It was a delivery for an even more hilarious Russian video. You think these crazy events happen all by themselves?
Why Online Dating Sucks (for Men)
09/02/13, 15:57

Physically, my first GF would be considered far more attractive than my wife.

However, my first GF was fucking nuts, and not in the "great in the sack" kind of way, but the "slow realization over time" sort of way.
Is Anime Art?
09/02/13, 00:42

Shoebox has left out a whole segment of anime fandom: Pedos.

Taiwan, China, they're both part of Japan, right?

The Impossible Dream

It's bad enough this song got overplayed and became a punchline, but for Christians to keep glomming onto it because of its line about marching "to hell for a heavenly cause" makes stuff like this all the worse.

Besides, it's not true Greg Duva without an animation loop featuring one eyebrow going up and down, forever.

Not bad metrics for a channel's first video posted only a day a go. Well done, you.
High Voltage Photoshop - K.C

"Khristine" seems to be one of those people who use the word "majick."

Also, 13 minutes of this? I don't know many people who could come up with this much material without a drum of protein powder and a crate of Ex-Lax.
Beavis and Butthead vs Sailor Moon Doom 2
08/30/13, 20:02

It was from the bad old Usenet-via-dial-up-AOL days, so there very well could have been one out there. By the time I had a better pipe to the 'net, I wasn't playing Doom2 anymore.
Beavis and Butthead vs Sailor Moon Doom 2
08/30/13, 11:18

I recall a Beavis & Butthead mod for Doom that disappointed me by not having them chant "BREAKIN' THE LAW, BREAKIN' THE LAWWWWW" when you brought out and used the chainsaw.
Juggalos And Maggots why cant we be friends?
08/30/13, 01:10

For those (like me) who still haven't discovered every subculture out there, "Maggots" are fans of Slipknot.

Or trainspotters. Or model railroad enthusiasts.

Those are all the same, pretty much, aren't they?
Thomas the Tank Engine crash compilation

There needs to be a steam locomotive version of GTA. And no, not a Western. Some place where a you basically have a city-sized switching yard with lots of places your trains-with-faces can suicide themselves into everyone else's trains-with-faces.
Why Dual Wielding Doesn't Work In Real Life
08/29/13, 16:17

Not sure on the movies, but the recently released Tomb Raider has it at the end.

Also, Mythbusters found that firing two guns alternately offered no advantage, but firing two guns simultaneously offered a SLIGHT advantage. I'm not sure what they mean by that, but the episode is online: http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/videos/hollywood-gunslingers.htm
Introducing the Nintendo 2DS
08/29/13, 11:09

That's one strategy, I suppose, but what I wonder is how long they can milk Mario, Zelda, and the rest of the 20+ year old IPs that they keep trotting out year after year.
Eagle CRASH at Oral Roberts University Chapel
08/29/13, 04:33

If the eagle had landed on a crucifix, someone would've called in a miracle. I wonder if they at all attributed this to their deity being upset with them?

Ha-ha, I kid. They'd just note that animals are the tools of Satan and go on oppressing women and minorities.

Introducing the Nintendo 2DS
08/29/13, 03:31

Given that between April 1st and June 30th, the Wii U has only sold 160,000 units (that's REALLY bad, by the way), Nintendo is probably looking to bolster a part of the market where it doesn't suck so much.
The Basement 360
08/28/13, 21:47

Not really. The farthest they get is "If they don't worship like I do, they're Satanists," and that often goes for other Christians.

The vagaries are so universal. I was sent a link to a woman who "used to be an atheist" but asked her Christian aunt a lot of "hard questions about her faith," then felt the need to go out and buy a bible the next day which she then swallowed hook, line, and sinker. Never once did she talk about any of the questions she asked, what answers were given, etc. It was all "Jeebus came into my heart and I needed a savior and whooptee-lujia!"

I hate to bring up an episode of Star Trek, but the one where some Klingon priests cloned their version of Jesus has a really useful scene for popping the balloons of religious idiots. The divine Klingon starts telling a parable about a man he fought, when the Klingon chancellor simply asks, "What was his name?"

The religious tend to not like specifics, since those are more easily scrutinized.
