Why is it like a Ghosttown everywhere lately?
04/12/12, 21:43

It's a perfect delusion. He's targeted if he sees people, and he's still targeted when he doesn't.

I'm amazed he hasn't yet come to the conclusion that everyone is being pulled away from his area so his own home and neighborhood can become a wall-less prison camp, just for him. And maybe his dog.

And are sports the opposite of anime, now? I missed that memo.

04/12/12, 16:43

Because he killed him? Yeah. Because he's dead? Well, if you wait long enough, everyone seen on YouTube will be dead, eventually.

He'd be a Steelers fan, actually.

Does posting here count as your one phone call?

No, it makes you a furry icon.

I like to think that it was his punishment for "Ernest Saves Christmas."

I love how half the YT comments are along the lines of "Don't blame anime! Blame video games instead!"

I guess Jesus didn't care for his performance or he would've cured his lung cancer.

For your story and the mention of Mr. Fibuli, since he's from the excellent Douglas Adams-scripted episode, "The Pirate Planet."

I heard tell that Adams wrote a lot of Doctor Who scripts that had one or two scenes they just couldn't pull off with their crappy FX (and their budget) back in the day. I wonder if they can dig those up and adapt them to the new 'Who?
John K.'s short on furries
04/10/12, 09:05

He's no Thomas Kinkade, that's for sure.

Rockwell actually expressed something with his works, he did paintings outside of his covers for magazines, and he painted a myriad of subjects.

The majority of Kinkade's output is houses with lit-up windows, sold with a lifestyle and religious outlook that's, at best, a facade.

I know you're loving being contrary, Mr. Dumpster, but since you regularly shit on movies and TV programs that are more art than Kinkade's work is, I'll just assume you're trollin'.

Yeah, Shawn Keller. I thought the same thing. He used to run Furryfans.com, but it's not there anymore. I think some of his cartoons are on YouTube.

To be fair, to really understand the horror that is Furry, those who are unfamiliar with the subject often require some kind of glossary, a lot of "no, really" and possibly even some kind of PowerPoint Presentation.

I think it was POE where I first saw the acronym "SPH." While I did Google the term, I think that the site has to shoulder at least part of the blame.

Not "bullshit," exactly. In this case, art became a product, not a means of expression. Kinkade (and others) painted what he did because it sold well.

Unless he's got some hidden stash of other works he did "just because?"

No one can. Paint doesn't come in RGB colors.

His company just raped the owners of his "galleries," most of which went out of business long ago.

The man made millions making things that were to art as stuff on the Hallmark channel is to classic cinema. Selling crap to suckers is the American way.

I lost it when I heard him land in the water off-camera. Sometimes jokes are funnier when the results are unseen.

I guess they could hire that one artist who recently painted Obama pointing at a burning copy of the constitution. I bet the audiences for both topics are similar.
Coast Guard valiantly defends America by sinking that tsunami ghost ship
04/08/12, 14:01

So you're saying a ship with no running lights, no crew, possible structural damage, unknown amounts of fuel etc. adrift near Alaska isn't a hazard to navigation?

Cena, please tell me that you TAKE orders in the Coast Guard and that you don't ever GIVE them.
A Message To All Haters
04/08/12, 13:58

I just consulted my copy of Rules of the Internet, and it seems to say that if one even mentions "haters," then they've already won.
