I knew a girl in college that used "mane and tail" shampoo/conditioner for horses on her hair. It was, indeed, thick and long, but she said it made her hair even more of a shower-clogger than normal.
I don't know if she answered math questions by stamping one foot or not, though. |

These days wars are about getting re-elected, getting money to/from the industries that cash in on war, and getting private companies (part of those aforementioned industries) access to natural resources at criminally low prices (for them) at the expense of the lives/quality of life of both the invading nation and the targeted one.
About the only ones who are all about mass genocide are religious nuts. Everyone else just wants slave labor, cheap materials, and taxpayer cash (or as they call it, "profit"). |

A long time ago I picked up a detector at a yard sale. I looked up my local ordinances about this kind of thing, and most public parks or other places don't care if you poke around and dig stuff up so long as you replace the grass and/or don't leave gaping holes for people to trip in.
I did find some WWII era metal toys near my house, which was kind of cool, but I don't make a habit of hauling the ol' detector out. Most of what you find is pull tabs and old nails/screws anyway. America has a deficit of Romans burying coins and stuff, making the hobby not quite as attractive as in, say, Britain. |
