Urban Explorers: Into The Darkness (full length movie)
01/31/13, 08:53 I thought Abrams didn't want colons in the title? |

Persona 1966 (Complete)
01/30/13, 17:07 This is what they based that "Persona" video game on, right?
I've never even played it, but thanks to all of the screencaps the fans keep posting, I feel like I've been mucking about with it for hours. |

'Star Trek: Into Darkness' trailer
01/30/13, 13:54 JJ Abrams' Star Trek is a lot like the Fallout games.
Fallout is set in an alternate universe that's basically a future envisioned by 50's-60's issues of Popular Mechanics with nukes dropped on it.
Abrams' Trek is Star Trek with it's feet still in the 1960s, but with modern special effects. If you go in with that in mind, it's okay. If not... then damn, JJ's Star Trek is a big disappointment and a missed opportunity. That is, he could've made the future/Federation one that you might believe would come out of our modern age. Instead, we got go-go boots, starships being built on the ground, and about as much attention paid to some actual science fiction as was done in The 5th Element. Not to mention the story had gaping plot holes (most notably, the "thunderstorm in space," since the first one was caused by the Romulan ship time-traveling, not just showing up somewhere).
If that's your thing, great, but some of us wanted a little something more. |

Xaver 100 Tactical Handheld Radar Detector
01/28/13, 23:46 Why am I not surprised that this ad is made to appeal to those who think playing with guns is like a video game? |

'Star Trek: Into Darkness' trailer
01/28/13, 20:24 "Star Trek: Into Darkness" does not contain a semicolon in the same way this sentence does not end with a question mark. |

The Simpsons - Lord Palmerston
01/28/13, 11:30 I'm giving five stars for evil on this. Not because of the content, but because of Fox's draconian and amazingly stupid campaign of taking down every clip of The Simpsons on YouTube they can, resulting in reverse-imaged or lower quality camera clips that can evade the auto-flag algorithms.
I don't think they get the fact that having little snippets of the fans' favorite jokes actually promotes their aging show and helps keep it at least semi-relevant. I can only think some lawyer has a cushy job at Fox surfing the 'net for sound and video clips, living in constant fear of the day when someone in marketing realizes he's hurting their brand. |

Men's Rights Supporters; You're Amazing, Keep It Up!
01/27/13, 18:05 I don't suppose it would make any difference that all of those male villains were defeated by men, would it?
It reminds me of the kerfuffle over "Aladdin" when it was pointed out that the bad guy in a movie set in the Middle East looked Middle Eastern. Nothing was said of the hero and his love interest also looking like they were from the region, but you know... |

How to hear God

I guess he hears enough voices, huh?
Also, he looks vaguely like a Lawrence Fishburne love-child. |

TFL Bill: breaking-news-obama-will-be-impeached???
01/26/13, 23:00 Didn't Limbaugh get in trouble (as in non-listeners to his show were made aware yet again what a racist shitbag he is) for playing that on his show over and over after Obama got elected?
TFL Bill is a straight up plagiarist. Rush'll sue. |

TFL Bill: breaking-news-obama-will-be-impeached???
01/26/13, 22:24 Wow. Most of his replies to his vid's comments make you hear his voice in your head. It's uncanny. |

Imposter Chuck E. Cheese in cahoots with grown-ups
01/26/13, 22:22 Thanks to CGI, that no longer includes the possibility of being molested by someone in a rat costume. |

Underneath Las Vegas
01/26/13, 19:57 Or if that's too expensive, go look up "The Thorn" in the video game Fallout: New Vegas. |

Underneath Las Vegas
01/26/13, 11:45 I read an article on this. Apart from the inhumanity it demonstrates in our society, the effect on those living underground was kind of disturbing. Several people didn't like coming out into the light after spending so much time underground. If it wasn't for the rains that flood the tunnels, I wonder what the end result would be. Real-life morlocks?
A nice flinty chunk of my mind makes me think that if these people become better-known, some asshole will turn part of the tunnels into a hotel or themed restaurant. |

Sick and tired of tea party cowards avoiding the Obama forged birth certificate issue
01/26/13, 04:03 Oh, please. The best "lefty rage" produced in the last 20 years was, what, the Earth Liberation Front?
If we had a truly left-wing movement in America, the GOP wouldn't have to be nearly as batshit insane as it does to get votes. |
