See, there's your problem. You're buying your stuff in Astronomical Units which are, by definition, astronomical.

Switch to a more reasonably-sized currency.

If nothing else, you learn that women love chocolate, and that chocolate is in no way a euphemism for African-American dick.

Flash is a funny beast. It owes its ubiquity to being pirated all to hell while a Macromedia product. It can do amazingly good animation without a load of equipment and computing power, and it's fairly easy to learn.

On the flip side, either it or Firefox can't seem to get their shit together in regards to my computer's memory. IE doesn't seem to have a problem with it, nor does Chrome, but FF just clogs up my RAM whenever it encounters flash (and sometimes when it doesn't).

Enjoy means "demonized" to be defined as "not sucking their master-money-race cocks with the Randroid reverence demanded by our betters by virtue of having taken more cash from taxpayers than anyone else."

Or something to that effect.

He's got to be, what, 55? 56?

Imagine him when senility adds its own little touch of fun to his brain.

It might have happened if there was a dem majority in congress, but that's a pretty big might. The GOP will never allow any of these guys to come to trial, and likely we'll see them or their heirs in office again, because we never fucking learn. There also needs to be a larger outcry from the populace, one that starts voting people out of office if its not heeded. Given the current apathetic (overall) climate, that's not happening, either.

But don't feel like it's only America. Berlusconi is making a comeback, and we can always look over at Russia for some really impressive levels of corruption.

It also involves a monthly fee, and probably giving up the rights to whatever you make with their program.

I will never forgive Adobe if I'm ever forced to use GIMP. Fuck them both.

Yeah. I knew several "vegetarians" in college who were anything but.

You can fry a lot of stuff in vegetable oil, and often low fat means high sugar/salt. Most of the time, cooking with actual butter and lard is "healthier" overall than going with artificial substitutes.

So what do they call her in France?
The Clop Cave

It'd make a good bit of profanity.

"Who left all this clop on the floor? How'd that clop get on the ceiling? Good god, it smells like clop in here! Get your clop together before I knock the clop out of you! Wipe this clop up before people think we like clop on our stuff!"

It's amazing how the narrator managed to sound disdainful about both the posting of calories, the inaccuracy of calorie counts, and the laxity of enforcement.

Other than holding his camera, he seems to give zero fucks about anything.

For those playing along at home, the original description ended in a word that was cut off, leaving only "rec."

I know explaining the joke is bad form, but future generations need a Rosetta Stone here and there.

I dunno. So much of just about every talk show is scripted (in that the comedians have their routines ready to go for "answers" to the host's questions) and the questions are written in advance. Maybe Louie went a little long, but the topic itself was likely no surprise.

Is it that these money-worshippers have realized that money doesn't fill the void that other people fill with creativity, productive endeavors, family, or other fulfilling acts/emotions, and the only thing left is that they want to take away what little the have-nots still might have?

That's the only conclusion I can think of that makes sense, apart from these soulless automatons being just evil.

Isn't this game the one just about every "sexy female" WAV file came from for a decade after?

And I'm sure Larry Niven got a nod for his novel "Lucifer's Hammer," right? Or was his revenge just seeing this thing fall apart?

When was the last anthology horror movie that was a major release? Tales from the Hood?

I still love Creepshow and The Twilight Zone. I miss movies like that.

It looks like the 80's was a worldwide epidemic. Of course, the Soviets probably had to kidnap those legwarmers.
