Not so! There are a great many that out-funny syndicated strips.

The hard part is the fact that the internet has no editor. The only way you can stop a bad webcomic is if the ones behind it run out of money or interest, so there's a huge pile of crap you have to wade through to find the ones that are worth your time.

That said, the bad ones can be kind of amusing, from a "stop and look at the trainwreck" perspective. I kind of miss the Bad Webcomics section on the old POE-red site.
Presidential Debate - Equality in the Workplace

This is the best summary I've read of the Obama/Romney choice:

“If you vote against Obama because he can’t get stuff done, it’s kind of like saying ‘This guy can’t cure cancer. I’m gonna vote for cancer.’”
~Chris Rock

The very worst Obama can do will still be light years better for the middle and lower classes than Romney. And a lot of people gripe that Obama hasn't done X, Y, or Z, yet they seem to forget the GOP in the Senate and their RECORD NUMBER of filibusters/threats.

Gitmo closing? Guess which party wouldn't let the prisoners be moved to the U.S. for trial?

Unemployment? Guess who shot down a bill to stop subsidizing businesses that move labor overseas?

There's been a shitload of legislation addressing the issues that people want Obama to solve, but it gets cock-blocked by a party that's admitted all they want to do is make everything fail or not happen and blame Obama.

When AREN'T they in victim mode? They cried persecution when they held the house, senate, and oval office for six years.

Of course, rich, Christian, and white guys are the last safe minority to make fun of, so maybe they have a point...

The group that compiled those "binders full of women" remembers them a tad differently than Romney recalled:

Right wing ladies are embarrassed by 'feminist behavior'
10/17/12, 23:08

I don't see why they hate Hollywood so much, as it seems to embody everything they love: The fetishization of guns, objectification of women, market-driven economics (more than most industries), tax avoidance and accounting shenanigans, and so on.

I guess they really hate SAG and the other guilds/unions, but in L.A. it's not all that different from taking Grover Norquist's satanic pacts, registering GOP and paying thousands if not more a plate for fund-raising dinners.

This was still a far less embarrassing photo-op than that "backwards ballcap gaydar-overload workout" photoshoot he did for Time magazine.

Welcome to right-wing acting excuses for their careers.

It was the mantra for Dwight Schultz, Bruce Boxlietner, Jerry Doyle, and just about everyone else who was pretty firmly B-List for most of their careers and couldn't admit to themselves that they weren't amazing thespians (or, more likely, made asses of themselves to co-workers/producers/directors).

I find this kind of thing hilarious.

"Corporations are wrecking democracy, so vote Ron Paul and we'll get rid of all corporate regulation, which will solve this somehow! Shut up! Ron Paul gold standard RP4evah!"

And it's nice to see people who fear THE JOOOOOZ show up in the comments.

Nyet, nyet. Is cat who is American. Agent of glorious Supreme Soviet is convincing lazy capitalist meow-meow to repeat party slogans or face reeducation on stove made by proletariat.
[SFM] Pinkie Pie and Twilight Try Out An 'Experiment'

Just about any franchise made from 1980 onward is probably going to have functional immortality. Shows like Power Rangers, MLP, and Transformers cracked the code a long time ago: Go on for about 5 years, retire for a bit, then retool and relaunch.

Power Rangers is especially good at it. I never even watched the show, and I know there are several different versions of it that were "new" to the audiences they appeared to. There was the first one, then one about time patrol, I think, and the robots kept changing along with the cast, and it's still going strong.

It's rather depressing, in a way. Sure, you might get something cool or entertaining every once in a while, but the thought that it's going to be My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, and Star Wars forever and ever is a pretty sad prospect.

Face McShooty wants you to shoot him in the face
10/14/12, 22:29

Shoot poorly-animated characters, half of which they couldn't bother to make working mouths for. You killed a major bad guy? Don't expect any NPCs to change their dialog for you. Oh, here, compare yet another gun's stats to see if it's barely better than the one you've got. What? You know your next mission objective is right next to the one you just finished? Too bad, we're going to make you drive over half the map to even start it. Oh, yes, there's another vault, sure, just like the last game. Maybe it'll be another NES style boss-battle just like last time, or maybe we'll find another way to shit on our customers again.

Oh, and weren't those claptraps hi-larious last time? Yeah, no matter how annoying something is, repeating it makes it funnier, because that's what our boss says, and he's letting his nephew write the missions, so shut up.
google map street view joined in --sporting some green on GREEN DAY --color code for gang stalkers

I don't get the "green day" thing, though he has a few other videos with that in the name... along with about 16,000 other videos.

This one was among the more frightening ones:

He writes it down. When he eventually dies, no doubt at the hands of his gangstalking persecutors, I hope his home/apartment/hovel is documented by someone for posterity.
I did it for the lulz
10/13/12, 17:44

Putting on my MST3K beard, it seems that "for the lulz" is the movie version of the phrase "for kicks" from Wild Rebels.

Now that I think about it, a 4chan-based focus group could prevent stuff like this on movies and TV. Even if they didn't really feel like helping your script out, you'd know how badly it would be received.
