It's the "how can they think that?" mindset. It's like how hard-core Apple enthusiasts think if they worship Steve Jobs as a god, PC users must do the same for Bill Gates, as they know no other way of behaving towards their consumer experience provider.
It's also fun to note that theists don't believe in shitloads of other gods with far more impressive earthworks built in their honor than the Abrahamic ones. |

Possums would regularly try to get into my mom's garden. My stepfather could walk up to them, wait for them to play dead, then pick them up by the tail and heave them out of the yard (assuming the dogs didn't get them first).
I've never seen anything killed by one of these things, let alone seen one do anything remotely aggressive. |

SolRo, the face and power of anti-gay in the US is overwhelmingly white. It includes most of the GOP, nearly all of its leadership, the heads of several prominent corporations, and many major religious groups.
It's like saying there were racists of every ethnic group everywhere at the dawn of the 20th century, but if you wanted to cite the biggest threat, it was the guys in the sheets on horseback. |

Jeeze, that game is on just about every Steam sale. It looks varied as hell but nobody I know (including me) is willing to even throw five bucks at it to see if it's even a decent way to lose a few hours. |

It's fun to watch conservatives start to smoke from the ears when you point out that GW Bush's "fortune" is largely owed to a similar scam through the Texas Rangers. He even got TIF (that's Tax Increment Financing) to improve the stadium for his mediocre team before selling his shares.
But yeah, see also just about every industry involving fossil fuels, processed foods, nearly everything owned by the Koch Brothers, etc. |
