Stoner gets robbed during his live webcast
02/22/13, 08:53 Also last time I heard of something like this happening around here, the two robbers ended up tying the guy to a chair and stabbing him about 50 times over the course of an hour or so just because they felt like it. This guy is lucky. |

Stoner gets robbed during his live webcast
02/22/13, 08:49 I've known a lot of stoners and I've never in my life seen an apartment that looks anything like this. Maybe it's a regional thing. |

and not a single
02/21/13, 23:24 9gag is a good reason, though. |

Demon Hunter ~ 'Complete set ' ~ on ROCK HARD LIVE
02/21/13, 23:22 I know but that's what I see them called. Maybe this is the closest it gets. |

Sloth On a Boat 2: Devil Woman
02/21/13, 23:20 That was supposed to be a reply to Jet Bin Fever but this works too. |

Don't hack this kid's computer
02/21/13, 21:27 Super autistic. I feel pretty bad for him.
But it's still funny. |

Drunk Bees
02/21/13, 17:16 The narrator sucks (also the suspiciously CGI looking bees in a couple of shots). |

Shiro Takes The 30-Day Otherkin Challenge
02/21/13, 17:13 This is exactly the kind of thing they warn parents of high functioning autistics to watch out for.
"Autism" tag isn't used nearly as often as it could be around here. |

Shiro Takes The 30-Day Otherkin Challenge
02/21/13, 17:11 "I faced major bullying in high school."
I am honestly shocked this guy is older than 16. |

Shiro Takes The 30-Day Otherkin Challenge
02/21/13, 17:05 I've met plenty of people who can howl really well, but they're not otherkin they just work with wolves professionally.
Actually, I don't know for certain none of them are otherkin now that I think about it. |

Ray Kurzweil: Your Brain in the Cloud
02/21/13, 17:03 Plus if we're all wrong and this does happen, it's going to be fucking awful. |

Ray Kurzweil: Your Brain in the Cloud
02/21/13, 17:00 Well, it was in the 80s and 90s anyhow, last on I had my hands on was a k2500 and it was great but that was back when you were lucky if you could add echo to audio in real time on a PC.
Also Casio made a similar one that was at least as good and cost less, but nobody cared because they were Casio. |

Ray Kurzweil: Your Brain in the Cloud
02/21/13, 16:58 The tricky thing about Kurzweil these days is that his observations about what has happened already are really astute and his observations about what is happening now are usually pretty sharp, but his projections about where all o fthat is leading are literally crazy. Sure he's made some good ones in the past but honestly, try to read The Singularity Is Near (I challenge you to actually finish it, it's not a good book and most of it is him saying the same thing over and over using different analogies to illustrate it - it could have been 100 pages and conveyed the same amount of real content) and tell me it's not the ravings of a very smart nutcase. |

Ray Kurzweil: Your Brain in the Cloud
02/21/13, 16:54 Also we still have only the most vague, theoretical ideas about how the brain actually works. Controlling an artificial limb or a cursor on a screen is great, but comparing that with what he's talking about is like comparing converting a bike to a moped in your basement with inventing and personally constructing every piece of aerospace technology developed by every space program in the 20th century because mopeds and space shuttles both use fuel to move from one place to another. |

Testing Driving Ability whilst Hella Blazed
02/21/13, 16:43 I was an unwitting participant in one of these experiments once. I never would have guess the bass player was so stoned if he hadn't tried to get onto the Mass Pike on an off ramp. |
