In case you were wondering about where that controversial 70% of donations going to "video and filmmaking initiatives" went rather than directly to help impoverished Ugandans, now you know. That money was going towards funding projects like the writing, producing and editing of this videio at a local high school in San Diego.
To reiterate, the Invisible Children people paid themselves a huge salary to make this video in their backyard rather than give the money to the cause the video is claiming to support.

I vaguely remember seeing this show somehow. If my hazy memory is correct, the episode I saw was about the white guy somehow having a curse placed on him so that he lost all his weight. This was a major problem. |

Since no one else seems to have noticed, this is actually a segment from the IFC television show "Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings".
The premise is that YouTube comedian-musician megastars Rhett & Link go around to strange local businesses in California and produce crazy commercials for them.
Still, I enjoyed this. I guess the show is better than I thought it was going to be. |
