Sadly Japan doesn't produce many tough looking actors these days. Had this been made in the 70s and you could had picked from a dozen of actors for the role of Kiryu. On the other hand, the rest of the cast was quite good. I also didn't mind that they didn't give any background whatsoever, the multiple-stories approach was not a bad idea, the bonnie and clyde kids was certainly annoying, but the bank robbers were fun. |
