Do a search of the NAACP website for Hallmark. You'll get zero hits. Of course, the statements were attributed to the LA NAACP, which also doesn't mention the Hallmark issue on their web site.
Which, gee makes it sound like they don't care about the issue at all.
The media is deliberately pushing an angle to makes it look like scary black skinned lawyers are swooping in and riling up crazy 'old biddies,' an angle that you swallowed completely and uncritically.
The two people making the comments in the interviews aren't random old people that the NAACP found, they ARE the NAACP. Leon Jenkins is the president of one of the local chapters in LA. If you look at the room in which they are making the announcement, you'll see that there are maybe a dozen people in total. The room is filled with empty chairs, almost as if no one cares.
But hey, if he media professionals can't differentiate between official actions undertaken by the NAACP and acts undertaken by local members of the NAACP, why should we try? They're probably right. I mean, racist ended with slavery, right? |

@KnowFuture There are doubts whether rocks were really thrown and if they were whether or not the kid threw them.
@Nikon Rocks can be deadly in the right circumstances, especially if one person is surrounded by many. My biggest question is why the hell this border agent was acting along. That's a fucking recipe for disaster.
There's another video that shows the border agent shooting (but not the poor kid getting shot). It's really debatable whether or not the agent was "surrounded" or if the Mexican citizens were throwing rocks.
